jebrick
Wilson had great accuracy as a pocket passer coming out of college. He could scramble and move but he could sit in the pocket and make great throws.
SotanKing
Why does it look like he is hopping just to complete a simple checkdown ? This thread is funny

Size does matter, but it is pretty overrated and can be overcome if you have the tools to. Thing is, Bryce Young doesn't look to have those tools, or even the tools to succeed if he were 6'4, 240lbs. I still think they mismeasured Murray somehow. He can't be more than 5-
MagicMT
Yes Young has been absolutely terrible so far but what's the point of starting Dalton? Hope the team goes 5-12 ? The team is bad everywhere, it's not like they're going to compete for anything with Dalton under center. It's been 2 games. Why not start Young for more and see if he can make any positive strides? Is it for coach / gm not to lose their job? A call directly made by the worse owner in football? Could be that they're really confident that he is a bust already? At least starting Young most of the year gives you a real good shot at 1st overall pick again!

A dominant D and run game can mask a lot. Trying to replicate Wilson was always a sucker bet. Nonsense. Wilson was no game manager riding on the coattails if a run game. He was a one man offense for several years after Lynch left. Tell me about all the QBs in Buffalo that Lynch elevated before Wilson with his 4.0 yards per carry. Canales is a new coach and a move like this could help gain him the locker room instead of losing it by keeping Young as the starter.
PossibleCabbage
I'm pretty sure they are just benching Young in order to figure out if the work they did on "improving the OL" and "improving the WR corps" actually paid off, or if those two position groups might be contributing to why Young is bad. The Panthers have no good reason to try to win like 6 games this year, so I imagine they'll put Young back under center once they've done their self-scouting on the rest of the offense. BullsandBroncos
This will make it easier for us to get a top pick for a QB next year that isn't carrying the Sanders name if/when Bo doesn't figure it out
