Geek
Lmao yall see Armstead stop and turn because he thought it was a screen? Pass rush was too fast.
Steve_DeBerg_Fan_420
He ran Young onto the field late, then line he and Bosa over the A gap. The A gap players on the 9ers are usually Warner and another back end player, and they almost always drop in coverage. Showing that look with two dudes who are certainly not dropping is really cool.

jonnguy2015
Would have been nice to go up 14-0 but I'll take it
J-ALL-DAY
Should be 14-0 but I'll take 10-0. Purdy was going to go Kittle there from the start and when that wasn't there, it was not going to end well. At least he didn't try to to force it to anyone. Jags surely take a deep shot here against Thomas with Ridley or Kirk, right?
Steve_DeBerg_Fan_420
That was actually a decent job blocking on Allen in that situation. I'll watch this play a few times later this week if I can remember. Watching Purdy's helmet stripe and the route development would give me an idea of what was going on. oldman9er
Less than perfect, but I get it. Purdy trying to be more cautious here and there. Nice to have a two score lead off of two O drives.

Either way pts on both drives is good

Deebo was open, but if it is a clear out, then Purdy's eyes are likely elsewhere.

Yeah, definitely an easier pass in Madden games, but don't know if Purdy really had a clear line of sight or good chance at it.
J-ALL-DAY
Oh no, a non-contact injury. Hopefully it's not an ACL.
