I don't really mind the hard hits except the one by Browning as they were dead in the water on a 3rd down. Despite our mostly ugly offense, we continue to put up points in a league that is overall down. MontanaBronco Posted November 27, 2023 Share Posted November 27, 2023 Well we took care of business. Gotta give Payton and co credit for turning things around and doing enough to win football games. Dialed up a lot of creative run schemes to keep the browns off balance but still not all that convincing when the other team starts to adjust. I would love to find a stat on javonte ypc running out of gun vs running with Russ under center. Javonte thrives when he can build a bit of momentum and don’t think his strengths are really suited for the way we are running the football sometimes. Truly think perine is the best fit for the current iteration of this offense but like that we can rotate guys a bit to keep fresh legs. Cutler06 Posted November 27, 2023 Share Posted November 27, 2023 (edited) Was really surprised how we kept the CLE running game in check, especially after our run D has struggled over this season. Looking over the remainder of our schedule, only HOU and DET seem a bit daunting, is it possible we could win out and find our way into the playoffs ? At worst it looks like 4-2 but that'd place us at 10-7 for the season.
