I have admired the Packers for quite some time for their offensive line play. GB seems to value movement traits in their OL prospects. Some variance will happen, put a stong percent of them have 3 cone: sub 7.75 Shuttle: sub 4.75 10 yard split: 1.8 GB has done well with college OT and movong them to OG from a pass protection perspective, you give up a bit in power run game , but with zone blocking and double teams-> getting to 2nd level, the movement traits makeup for the power/ drive aspects.

Myers, Newman, and Rhyan are all underperforming at best and God awful at worst.

Newman sure, Rhyan has never got a chance yet, we will see this year if he does, Myers has started 34 games the past two years, 17 games each season. Not sure how that is underperforming for a late 2nd round pick, is he the best center in the NFL, no but he is not the worst either. And really Newman and Rhyan are just backups so who cares if they never become great starters, depth does matter in the NFL. My guess is they draft quality IOL and maybe a OT in the up coming draft and issue solved. And how they hit on Walker and Nijman even though Yosh is no longer with the team, that makes up for any misses they had with higher picks on the OL. Myers has started yes, but he has been pretty poor. Hes one of the guys we need to replace. I do think we draft at least 2 OL this draft.
