Who subbed in for greenlaw when he got ejected? How did the player do?

Burks....And he made one really good tackle.

The defense overall played really disciplined aside from Ferrell who kept giving up the edge.

Really impressed with Gregory's performance though. Dude was a force and the one edge bringing consistent pressure while still playing his responsibilities.

Kalia Davis making his NFL debut and dude gets a sack. Just amazing....Really wish he would get some snaps the rest of the season. He's the one with big time potential to be a force rushing the passer from the interior. Givens likely leaves in the offseason and Kinlaw as well so he will get his shot next year.

To use an MMA Anaology, this was Justin Gaethje vs Tony Ferguson. Super competitive first round where Tony gets the nod in round one, but barely.

Justin then comes back and gives one of the most emphatically violent performances I’ve ever seen to the point where it got uncomfortable. This was that game. This felt worse than what Miami did to Denver.

That said, it’s not the same sport. Philly will be fine. But it’s really hard to see in the current landscape, with the exception of like 4 team (Dallas, Philly and maybe Baltimore and KC) how anyone can keep up with this team when they’re on a heater. I just don’t see it. You have to hope for injuries and luck.

this teams had 3 losses, but I swear this is the best team I’ve watched in the modern (post Nolan) era. What kap did was special but you knew he had to beat the adjustments from the league.

purdy is “game managing” like very few in the NFL can. He’s absolutely in the mvp race.

Yeah, Burks hit the hell out of someone at some point lol. He's been a very, very solid free agent add. Perfectly fine LB 3 / 4 .

Not sure what happens with Gregory. Little on the older side and we will have to cut him because of his salary next year. But I'm curious if he'll just re-sign on a cheap one year deal.

For some reason, I thought he had been active for games and gotten in before. Didn't know that it was actually his debut.

The only teams I fear in the postseason are the Eagles & Cowboys in the NFC and in the SB I fear the Ravens, Chiefs and if the Bills somehow manage to get through. Basically it's the 3 QB's in the AFC I fear the most e.g. Mahomes, Jackson & Allen. I'd gladly take a SB matchup with the Jags or Dolphins as they can handle Lawrence & Tua.

Linebacker Fred Warner earned the game's highest overall grade (90.2). Sunday was the second time this season he earned a grade of 90.0 or higher and his sixth time in the past seven games hitting a mark of 81.1 or higher. Warner's 89.7 coverage grade was his highest since the playoff game against the Green Bay Packers during the 2021 season (92.7). He allowed two receptions for seven yards against the Eagles.

Wide receiver Deebo Samuel earned the game's highest offensive grade (86.1). It was his highest grade since Week 3 against the New York Giants (88.6). Samuel hauled in four receptions for 116 yards and two touchdowns against the Eagles. He also contributed on the ground, gaining 22 yards and scoring a rushing touchdown. This game marked the second occasion this season that Samuel exceeded 100 receiving yards, and it was the first time in his career that he achieved three total touchdowns in a single game.

Brock Purdy has earned an overall grade of 72.7 or higher in each of his last five games. The quarterback completed 19 of his 27 passing attempts for 314 yards and four touchdowns, finishing with a 148.8 passer rating. This marked Purdy's fourth time this season achieving a passer rating of 144.4 or higher. Additionally, his 70.4 percent completion percentage marks the eighth time this season the quarterback has completed 70 percent or more of his pass attempts. All eight have come in the last nine games.

Defensive end Nick Bosa recorded a game-high eight pressures, producing eight quarterback hurries. While his 64.8 pass-rush grade was surpassed by three of his teammates (Kalia Davis, 75.5; Chase Young, 70.8; Arik Armstead, 70.2), his 88.5 run-defense grade was the best in the game.

Christian McCaffrey finished the game with 93 rushing yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. He also hauled in three passes for 40 yards. McCaffrey's performance made him the first 49ers running back since Frank Gore in 2014 to surpass 1,000 rushing yards in a single season. He is on pace for 24 total touchdowns this season, which would surpass Jerry Rice's franchise record mark of 23 in 1987. McCaffrey's 85.6 overall grade is his best since Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals (91.0) and marks the fourth time over the past five games the running back has earned a grade of 82.9 or higher.

Irony, Dwelley has an injured ankle and will be out 2-4 wks. Bring him in, unless you are going to bring in one of the rookies with Woerner

I've been dying to see Willis get some burn.

I really like his athletic fit and blocking acumen for Shanny's scheme.

I legit  didn't think I'd have a non 49er fan arguing with me about the defense playing well before the bye, but here we are lol

The problem is they played a who's who of jank offenses (and a couple of good or better) before the bye and their yards allowed and points allowed were artificially deflated. DVOA got that they weren't playing well. Fan eye tests got that they weren't playing up to capability. But from the outside it was harder to see.
