So after looking at the schedules of all the AFC teams in the wild card race..... I have no idea how things are going to turn out.

The majority of the games on the schedules are all winnable and losable, aside from the games against the Patriots.

Β

BTW, the Pats/Steelers game this Thursday is going to set back offensive football 50 years.

It's gonna be glorious. I'm rooting for a tie.

Most 1,000 yard receiving seasons all time

14 - Jerry Rice
10 - Mike Evans
10 - Randy Moss
9 - Terrell Owens
9 - Larry Fitzgerald
9 - Tim Brown
9 - Jimmy Smith

Most consecutive 1,000 yard receiving seasons

11 - Jerry Rice (1986-96)
10 - Mike Evans (2014-present)
9 - Tim Brown (1993-01)
8 - Marvin Harrison (1999-06)
8 - Cris Carter (1993-00)
8 - Torry Holt (2000-07)

Β

I know Evans doesn't have that signature NFL Films game or moment where he's immortalized in the minds of people forever, but he has the numbers, the ring, and he'll be over 100 touchdowns by next season if he stays healthy in addition to matching Rice for consecutive 1K seasons. The HOF will have to come knocking at his door at some point.Β

The difference is you're happy about it.

Not a team that can beat the Niners now

If you do, you lose your starting QB for the year. We've scared teams into succumbing forΒ  fear of losing their guy

If you're an offensive lineman and they give you a victory interview on the sidelines after the game, you must be a REALLY good OL. A few weeks ago it was Jason Kelce, and today it was Trent Williams.

Texans FB Andrew Beck (on a punt play) and Broncos ILB Alex Singleton both committed dumb personal fouls purely out of rage. It was two white guys going all gangsta. 😁

Dumb thought of the week:

Is it actually best in the NFC right now to the #2 seed over the #1? This assumption is that you don't fully believe in the Lions, and think the Tier 1 teams are 9ers/Dallas/Eagles (in that order IMO). Philly or Dallas will 100% get the 5th seed, baring obscene circumstances. Thus, whoever gets the #1 team will very likely be matched against against the DAL/PHI in the divisional round, and then likely be matched against the other in the conference championship.

For example, would you rather have a Bye-PHI-DAL for your road to the Superbowl, or potentially something like GB-DET-NFCE team?

I think you always want fewer games to need to win
