How do you beat the 49ers?

Hope Deebo and CMC get hurt.

Brock or Trent would probably be a bigger loss than either of them, to be honest. The offense could probably remain functional with Darnold, but you'd probably see more turnovers and missed reads, like with Jimmy, and without Trent our O-line becomes one of the worst in the league. Losing Deebo or CMC would certainly hurt but their production could be somewhat made up for with the other and Aiyuk/Mitchell/Mason.

It seemed to me that when Deebo went down earlier in the year, they looked a lot more beatable.

Exactly. Not much hope unless the 49ers just don't show up when those guys are clicking.

You have to hope that they beat themselves.  Insert joke as you wish.

But seriously, this team and franchise is almost bullet proof at this point in time.

They have had seriously good to great teams for years.  No title.  Ownership stays the course.

This is the only team that can flat out whiff on a trade up for a QB.  What was that trade again?  3 first round picks and a third round pick?  Ownership stays the course.

This would set back a normal franchise for at least 3-5 years.  But San Fran?  Nope.  They just find a guy as Mr. Irrelevant to come in and play at an MVP level, right away in his career.  Okay, if he isn't at an MVP level, he's certainly close.

Like, this is a franchise that can fall into a mudpile and come out clean when they get up.

Trent being out in that same time span hurt the team more, in my opinion. Purdy was still able to move the ball fairly well, but it felt like he was running for his life every time he dropped back. Deebo went down against the Bucs last year and was out until Week 18 and the offense was still clicking without him. That doesn't mean he's replaceable or that the offense wouldn't take a noticeable step back, of course, just that Williams is probably our most irreplaceable player on that side of the ball
