So funny how Dak fumbles and it’s just a rare mistake but the Eagles fumble three times on your side of the 50 and it’s a great play by the Dallas D. The successful fake punt wasn’t luck or random… it was just a really good call. AJ dropped a money pass at the 5 yard line and we got no points. Smitty dropped a pass on third down and got his hands on a ball in the end zone that he did not catch.
 

This was nothing like the Niners game. Nothing we did in that game would have mattered… that team was significantly better. Dallas flat out is not. This game was very winnable if the Eagles don’t play like absolute garbage. That isn’t taking anything away from Dallas that is merely pointing out what happened.

Those things do not correlate. Obviously the fumble from Dak was in fact a rare mistake, but I also did not take away anything from your defense causing it. I only brought it up because you made it seem like the loss was unlucky.. despite that play obviously very much going your way for the sole Philly TD of the night. Meanwhile, Hurts fumbling is nothing new - he has fumbled in 7 games in a row and has had turnover struggles. Dallas is also good at forcing turnovers, and have been good at it for the past 3 seasons (including this one).. taking the ball away isn’t exactly unprecedented for them and it’s silly to act like it was just a matter of luck when you see Dallas players actively peanut punching and being aggressive going for the ball. Gilmore beat the brakes off of AJ all night, including the forced fumble.. he reaped the dividends of being more physical - that wasn’t just a matter of luck.
 

Meanwhile, Lamb dropped a deep shot from Dak that very well might have gone for a TD.. they ended up punting and then fumbling the ball away for 6 points the other way on the next possession. Other drives stalled because of a ton of offensive penalties along the o-line. 
 

The Cowboys didn’t even play their best ball and still easily won by 20 points. You shouldn’t only look at the hypothetical “what ifs” for your team while ignoring the things that didn’t go the way of the Cowboys in a game they dominated regardless. Those hypotheticals mean little, anyway. Philly was flat out outclassed in this one.

A rematch in Philly would be closer, but I’d bet on Philly losing by multiple scores in a rematch with Dallas at their place. Going there was going to be tough for them, and frankly the result wasn’t all that surprising.

Finally the Debbie downers got their wishes. They've been bashing this team all year even thru the good. Trying to take a victory lap on the eagles fall 😂 knew they were fake fans this entire time. Can't take a victory lap on "your squad". 

Same people voting on WIP that Dak is better then Hurts this morning too lol unbelievable. Not shocked by this just thought it was funny. ⚒️s

I've heard that or similar stories for years with many teams. Good chance you're correct since only 1 team can make it from the NFC so the odds are in your favorite with that statement. Not gonna write my squad off cause they lost a couple games straight. 9ers game was embarrassing but this game was us shooting ourselves over and over and over. The good thing about that is that can be fixed. Question is will it be fixed

Because he always finds ways to screw something up. No matter what the situation. There’s no reason to try and buy yourself .8 more seconds to try and force a throw. Just collapse and live another day. He almost single handedly put us back in the game.

Imagine being so mad that a select few were right throughout the offseason and regular season about the glaring problems this team had to the point where you have to make a post like this lol. Just sad.

Yeah, I am so happy to be right.

Get real.  The signs have been there all year.  Going into the 9ers game the Eagles were 19th in yards allowed, 22nd in points allowed and dead last in 3rd down defense.

Sure, you can say the Eagles were resilient to win those games, but it took mistakes and missed opportunities by the opponent to open that window.

Fake fans for pointing out the glaring holes in the team? Don't be childish. You guys only want to see the problem only when the crack has become a hole. Just because the team was winning doesn't mean it wasn't there, and that you somehow "were right". 

What is the problem with your last sentence? There is nothing wrong with that this year. You are confusing being a fan with being blinded by your fandom. What we like and what we want is different to what it is.

I just think the issues are too deep and various to be fixed this season. Defense is old and slow. Offense is basic and too reliant on our people beating your people. The defense is the worst in the league and the offense isn't good enough to pick them up. I legitimately give them a 5% chance to win the NFC. The playoffs are a gauntlet full of tough competitive teams that I just don't see this team overcoming. And even if they do execute, they'll fumble it away. Laundry list of problems.

Obviously this isn’t true. Historically he doesn’t turn the ball over much. He’s not a current MVP front runner “because he finds ways to screw up”. 
 

I guess he’s going to have to never make a mistake ever again.. because that’s totally reasonable. As if other top flight QBs (both current and years past) never make mistakes or turn the ball over. Pointing at Dak and saying “See! That’s who he REALLY is!” the second he makes a rare mistake is ridiculous and convenient when he’s obviously been playing great football this season.
