Calais Campbell, Donte Fowler, and Yannick on the Jags don't make each other useless...They form an unstoppable and game changing pass rushing dynamic.

Sometimes they kick Calais inside and rush all 3 or vice versa.

Why can't we do that here? When Myles rushes on the inside it's devastating and so it is with Ogbah.

Minkah is going to make a pro bowl SS/box safety or a good Boundary CB, he's just not a FS just like Jabrill wasn't

Yannick was also a 3rd round pick and CC was a FA. I don’t want to use high picks on a position to get a third player at the position when we have glaring holes elsewhere.

I’d rather use my top pick and get the next Jalen Ramsey who would play another position and try to get my pass rusher later especially in a class where they can be found in the middle rounds.

I actually would agree somewhat agree if the talent was available...

Minkah is no where close to Ramsey as CB

And there is no depth to the talent pool of pass rushers. That guy doesn't exist this year.

Bradley is an elite pass rusher.

They don't come along often.

And you can't get them in Free Agency.

You can get FA CBs.

Ultimately, doesn't matter how we acquire the talent just get it here.

How do you like Ronnie Harrison at FS? He is slated to go somewhere late first to really second round so may be there at the top of round two for us.

Franchise QBs are not made by the everyday throws throughout the majority of a football game. When you get to the NFL most of the QBs have the ability to make all the plays and NFL offense needs them to make. What separates the ordinary QB from the Franchise QBs are how they perform in the most crucial parts of the game. I have already examined how prospect have performed in the (1) Red Zone now I have gathered info on (2) Losing by 1-7 points. This is when a QB has a chance to prove they can command the huddle, calm the offense and tell his teammates we are going punch for punch with our opponent. (3) 3rd Down and Manageable 1-6 yards. There is a reason they refer to this as the money down. You have to keep your offense on the field if you want to win games. (4) 3rd and Long 10+ I don't put as much stock in this because it is a bad situation for any QB, but it is a chance for the QB to be a hero and Franchise QBs need to be a hero from time to time. (5) 4th Quarter and Overtime. As we Browns fans know it is the most important quarter. You can all play great all game and lose it all in a moment with one bad decision in the 4th. You can also be losing all game and play great in the clutch and come out on top.

I took these 5 categories and compiled the stats for the Top 8 QBs in this draft and ranked each to see how they stacked up. I then gave them points for each of the 5 categories giving 1 point for the 8th place finisher through 8 points for the winner and the results are awfully surprising IMO.

Solid player has trouble with eye discipline and quick triggering to break up passes in the post.

Really good quick trigger when it comes to run support.

I see him as a 2nd half of the round/ bottom of the 2nd round player even though he's being projected much higher.

Love him at the Eagles pick, but if we are going FS at the top of round 2.....then give me Justin Reid out of Stanford

You are correct in that their are more Hall Of Famers in the 1st round list than the 2nd round list, but I do not care about drafting Hall Of Famers.

Another point here, if a guy is in the Hall of Fame, he’s been out of the game for at least a bit, many of these guys well over a decade.

The game has changed.  Teams don’t ride one back for 30 carries a game like they used to. The “two headed monster” or “rb by committee” seems to be far more common than it was when those HOFers played.

Today’s game is pass first, qb oriented.  The QB and his ability to beat defenses with his arm largely determine an offenses success. There aren’t many teams who simply line up and run it down your throat and win titles. I want players who impact the pass game, be that QB, WR or LT on offense or DE, DT, CB or a 3 down LB on defense with premium picks.

Tell me everything about Minkah Fitzpatrick as a CB and as a S.

@Mind Character nailed it. His best fit, IMO, is as a nickel corner. Solid in all areas, but not a natural FS. He's also pretty lanky to be playing in the box full-time. I honestly don't like him and find him to be overrated as an NFL prospect. He's a perfect jack-of-all-trades college football player, but I don't see him being anything more than a really solid player in the NFL. @Rich7sena hit the nail on the head with his comparison IMO: Micah Hyde. He's basically Micah Hyde that can play solid man coverage on bigger/less quick slot receivers.

We don't need Minkah Fitzpatrick here...especially with the #4 overall pick. If we take a safety that high, it better be Derwin James.
