vikingsrule
Just want to win to keep Green Bay out. Dont think LA and Seattle will be caught so probably a meaningless game for both teams at the end of the day. Probably a toss up for the last spot. I'll give you the Vegas game, but Chicago, as ugly a game as it was, was also a lot of bad bounces. I certainly wouldn't have any issues with starting Hall, but I'd still rather see Mullens than Dobbs. At least Mullens has the ability to move the ball down field...just don't ask him to throw any passes longer than 15 yds because then it starts to wobble. vikesfan89
If they do anything the rest of the year, just beat the Packers

Weren't all or most of Jeffersons passes 20+ yards down the field?

If we do that, the NFL will have had yet another late season game of two teams that won't make the playoffs lol
SteelKing728
Bryce Young carved the Packers up on post routes all day yesterday. Unfortunately, our QBs currently can't make that throw consistently, even against an awful defense. Still, I think fate has it that we win. It would mean the Packers play the Jets next season...(unless they screw it up and finish last in their division lol)

Between Mullens and Dobbs is that Dobbs can extend plays when protection breaks down. Mullens has a better arm, but lacks discipline and leaves something to be desired when making decisions in clutch situations. He cannot extend plays. He runs like he pants have dropped around his knees. So, for me, it's 6 of one, half dozen of the other. Neither are giving the team enough production to win. Might as well see Hall. Extending the play doesn't mean much if you can't throw the ball at all without it sailing...even on 5-yd passes. I was never impressed with Dobbs at all...I was always cautious even when he was having success. Mullens is no winner either, but if I have to make a choice, I'm taking Mullens 9 times out of 10. Dobbs' mobility doesn't serve a purpose if he can't throw. Then he's just a mobile Christian Ponder (or a weaker-armed Tarvaris). I definitely put both Mullens and Dobbs in the category of a Tarvaris and Ponder...guys who are clearly backups and never should ever be starting QBs.
