MOSteelers56
Tough to hate this move when we’re only paying him $1.2M. Hopefully if he stinks we don’t hesitate to bench him.
Blackstar12
He went to a even tougher division lol.
Football_Bachelor08
Now watch as he fails there, too. If he sucked with an offensive genius like Payton, Tomlin and Arthur Smith will get even less out of him.
nagahide13
He'll probably be middling. Do they hope he balls out and signs a massive extension? Steelers have to do something else at QB in addition to this or they'll be looking at FA qbs again next offseason.
cp0k2
Well at least he won't be stealing as much money from the Steelers as he did from Denver.
Tugboat
Makes complete sense. It was always the most natural fit for him. Shouldn't have to ask him to "cook". He can just go back to doing what he did with Seattle early in his career. Just lean on a defense and running game, make those downfield shot plays when called upon. Call it good. And it works for the Steelers too, as he costs them practically nothing at all. They weren't going to be in a position to land any better immediate options, and he should be a clear upgrade over Pickett/Rudolph. I think Tomlin and that Steelers team culture in general is probably a really good place for him to go and rehabilitate some of his image. Out of the spotlight and crazy distractions for the most part.
El Ramster
Steeelers nation let’s lets weld. Either way it’s going to be really good or really bad. Broncos country thanks for the ride, it was a bit bumpy.

4thandInches
This has disaster written all over it. He’s goes to an even harder division plus personality wise, seems like a misfit.
