Yup. We are very happy with Jimmy G, but his deep ball needs a lot of work, and the red zone woes are a problem right now. He's a legit quarterback. How legit, I don't know...top 5? top 10? just top half? I don't know. But he's good enough to be the future. But the team still has a lot of holes to fill. Shanny's offense will make him better as well.

If the Niners stopped committing stupid penalties in the red zone, we'd get a better sense for how good he is in that area.

In fairness, according to Schefty, it was the Pats decision to send him to the 49ers because they wanted to do right by Jimmy G and they liked Shanny / Lynch. The 49ers supposedly didn't make that call.

Now it all makes sense it has come full circle :D   Bill told him to throw the SB last year in exchange for him giving him his Qb of the future this year for cheap lol.     DANG YOU SHANNY YOU SLICK MOFO xD

So glad this trade worked out and Bill and company contacted the 49ers. What Jimmy is doing with scrubs after being here only a month is remarkable.

Goodwin looks like a legit wr2. It's bizarre lol

So the ball moving is irrelevant?  If he was going out of bounds it'd be different.

The ball moved. He was going to ground, you have to complete the process going to ground meaning the ball cannot move. Like seriously, this play is not foreign. They called that incomplete literally all the time.

Really, no wonder why it was ruled a TD. Oh wait...

Because NFL refs are obviously infallible right? Oh wait...

Gtfo dude. The ball never touched the ground as far as i've seen, people just keep saying it moved but that doesn't matter if it doesn't touch the ground.

No you are literally wrong.  The ball can move as long as it doesn't hit the ground.  IF THE PLAYER IS FALLING OUT OF BOUNDS and the ball moves, then he is out of bounds by the time he has possession, thus incomplete pass, e.g. the Dez Bryant play.  On this play he wasn't going out of bounds, and there wasn't a clear shot of the ball hitting the ground with his hands not underneath.

Seriously how do you not know this?
