I have to think a bit about Sweat.  The difference between him and Hall ( the next DT) is quite large.  The difference between Corley  and Roman Wilson,  not so much.  But Fiske is on the list so perhaps we can wait.  Payton Wilson is interesting in this spot.

Yea I like Corley but I think positions scarcity is a factor here.

No OTs or CBs?

Guess I'm not as high on Corely as some

Basically a RB , who will have to learn how to run NFL Routes , you'll have to manufacturer touches for a few years

Menace with the ball in his hands though

With that said I take the NT , run defense has not been good for years, add in Derrick Henry and Nick Chubb is in the division

Depth at WR too is a plus

Sweat or Fiske , P. Wilson is best player there but the health and next years great ILB class make that not very wise. Have a feeling R Wilson has Tomlins interest even though not as ideal as other guys for us.

The trade looked like a good idea but not loving the fallout at this point.

Corely "replacements" are more plentiful. If you pass on Corely there are a few more options (Roman/Polk/Pearsall/Legette/McMillan/Walker...etc). However, Sweat and Wilson "replacements" are more limited (Sweat/Fiske and Wilson/Cooper). This is a great problem to have!

What I do not like about Sweat is his motor.  That is always the knock on him.  Do you need an NT like Hampton or one like Chris Hoke/Kessel. Fiske is a high motor 1 tech that would be closer to a 3 down player than Sweat ( IMHO).  Sweat is special but how long until he is a 2 down player?  Does he make it out of his rookie contract as a 3 down player?

That’s a good point.
