Well, Penix gets a bigger paycheck - initially. Penix will sit and rot behind Kirk for a few years. He won’t start until he’s 26 years old. Penix looked disappointed because he knows that it made no sense and that he’s most likely not going to start for a long time, which is crazy because he’s probably the most ready QB and he’s going to be 24 years old soon.
