vikes635
On 5/5/2024 at 5:05 PM, Ozzy said: I changed the order of some teams and specifically based on rosters this is how I would rank them potentially. Vikings still middle of the pack but sure ideally they pick a little higher to get Graham but I would not hate getting Grant from Michigan also but I went with Tyleik Williams because he has more pass rush potential and agility on the inside. Vikings could have been in range for Sanders, Beck or Milroe if he has a bad year. And QBs unless some guys really fail might not be prized at the top of the draft because most of those teams already have a young QB. Curious what will happen and of course it is super early. I gave you a like because damm you already deep into scouting for next year. Nice having you around Ozzy, keep up the good posts
Ozzy
This is what I have now for the Vikings with a full 7 rounds completed, added 34 players at the end for the comp picks which increases the total to 257, did not include comp picks though because they are up in the air still. Ozzy
14 hours ago, SteelKing728 said: Are we definitely getting a 7th round pick from the Steelers?? I read that the terms of that deal are not confirmed yet but the list I looked at had them getting a 7th rounder from the Steelers for that trade. Murphy, McGlothern, Nester, Ritcher, Jones and Harper in that UDFA could be huge because of the lack in picks for 2025. But not sure they will be able to keep them all on the practice squad but I do expect at least 2-4 of them to possibly make the active roster.
vike daddy
In this latest 2025 NFL Mock Draft, the order has been set by the results of a whole season prediction conducted by PFN NFL Analyst Dakota Randall using the PFN Playoff Predictor. 2025 NFL Mock Draft 1) Washington Commanders: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan The Washington Commanders put together an impressive draft class in April, but they still need to find a lockdown cornerback. They return to the Michigan Wolverines’ pool of standout secondary players in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft, snagging a playmaker in Will Johnson with the size, football IQ, athletic excellence, and ball skills to dominate at the NFL level. 2) Tennessee Titans: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri If the Tennessee Titans are picking this high next April, it’s likely there’ll be serious consideration given to the quarterback position. Yet, this class has already been derided for its lack of talent at that position, so their attention turns to bolstering a weak WR room. Luther Burden III is a rare talent with the skill set to impact the game in multiple ways as an NFL rookie. 3) Carolina Panthers: Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State Abdul Carter racked up 16 tackles for loss and 11 sacks playing as a linebacker for the Penn State Nittany Lions during the last two seasons. James Franklin is moving him to the edge this fall, giving the eye-popping pass rush threat a free rein to the opposition’s backfield. When he excels there in 2024, his elevation to the No. 1 EDGE in this class will follow. 4) Denver Broncos: Deone Walker, DT, Kentucky The Denver Broncos are at their very best when dominant on defense, and there is plenty of work to do on that side of the ball. As a result, they take the best defensive player available in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft to solidify the trenches. They don’t make players like Deone Walker often, a mammoth of a man with exceptional strength and seen-to-be-believed athleticism. 5) New Orleans Saints: James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee After ranking near the bottom of the NFL with just two sacks per game in the 2023 season, the New Orleans Saints chose to bring in Chase Young for a season rather than add a top-tier young gun in the last draft class. James Pearce Jr. gives them a productive pass-rushing playmaker whose explosion and bend are hard to compete against. 6) Minnesota Vikings: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame The addition of Shaq Griffin and multiple CBs in the previous draft cycle points to the Minnesota Vikings looking to upgrade their secondary. They do that in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft with Notre Dame standout Benjamin Morrison, a top-five prospect on the PFN Big Board. He closes space in a heartbeat and has the ball skills to routinely snag interceptions in the NFL. 7) Indianapolis Colts: Malaki Starks, S, GeorgiaThe seventh overall pick might seem a little early for a safety, but when you spend draft capital on Malaki Starks, you’re actually abiding by the law of “speculate to accumulate.” The capture of the playmaking Georgia standout upgrades the entire Indianapolis Colts’ secondary, a unit that could see the loss of current starter Julian Blackmon to free agency in 2025. 8 ) New York Giants: Carson Beck, QB, Georgia Even in advance of the 2024 college football season, you can comfortably say that the 2025 NFL Draft quarterback class isn’t of the same caliber as the previous one. However, there is a clear QB1 at this moment in time, and that’s Carson Beck. He has the arm talent and ability to thrive in the NFL. His selection brings an end to the Daniel Jones fiasco in New York. 9) Arizona Cardinals: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan The Arizona Cardinals added a versatile defensive playmaker to their front a month ago, and the selection of Mason Graham in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft helps to further build in the trenches. The Michigan mauler makes collapsing pockets look like crinkling paper with his disruptive strength while adding his own pass-rush presence by way of impressive-for-size athleticism. 10) Chicago Bears: Princely Umanmielen, EDGE, Ole Miss After upgrading their offense last month, the Chicago Bears turn their focus to defense in this 2025 NFL Mock Draft. Austin Booker was a fifth-round acquisition who can make an impact but they need a viable, consistent threat opposite Montez Sweat. Princely Umanmielen is a minor attitude adjustment from being one of the best in college football and should thrive at Ole Miss. 11) Pittsburgh Steelers: Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss 12) Las Vegas Raiders: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado 13) Seattle Seahawks: Harold Perkins Jr., LB, LSU 14) Atlanta Falcons: Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona 15) Los Angeles Chargers: Denzel Burke, CB, Ohio State 16) New York Jets: Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan 17) New England Patriots: Dani-Dennis Sutton, EDGE, Penn State 18) Miami Dolphins: Nic Anderson, WR, Oklahoma 19) Jacksonville Jaguars: Earnest Green III, OT, Georgia 20) Houston Texans: Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado 21) Los Angeles Rams: Will Campbell, OT, LSU 22) Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia 23) Buffalo Bills: Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky 24) Dallas Cowboys: Ollie Gordon II, RB, Oklahoma State 25) Philadelphia Eagles: Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M 26) Cleveland Browns: Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas 27) Green Bay Packers: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan 28) Kansas City Chiefs: Tacario Davis, CB, Arizona 29) Baltimore Ravens: Donovan Jackson, OG, Ohio State 30) San Francisco 49ers: Ajani Cornelius, OT, Oregon 31) Detroit Lions: Patrick Payton, EDGE, Florida State 32) Cincinnati Bengals: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State https://www.profootballnetwork.com/oliver-hodgkinson-2025-nfl-mock-draft-may/ Edited May 20 by vike daddy
Purplepride323
Mason Graham, Deone Walker or Kenneth Grant in that order. Next year’s DT class is deep, and luckily that’s the position of need for our team. We have a young rising star on every position except for DT. Hopefully we have a great season, pick in the 20s and still get a guy like Kenneth Grant, who’d be a day one starting NT. He’s freakishly quick for his massive size and can get to the QB in a multitude of ways as well as stop the run with his size, strength and agility. He’s a guy that I’ll have my eyes on this year in college football. Edited May 20 by Purplepride323

TreVeyon Henderson will most likely be available in the 3rd round with our compensatory pick. He’s a beast and can be a day one starter. Next year’s RB class is deep and there are a lot of guys that can fit within our running game. Henderson is my favorite though because he’s elusive and has home run ability which is dangerous when you have receivers like Jefferson and Addison on the outside. A RB that has speed can take advantage of the open field that gets provided when the safeties have to account for elite wide receivers. Jefferson, Addison, Hockenson and Henderson would complete the “Sons of Anarchy” theme that we have going. 😂

swede700
Quote We polled more than a dozen NFL scouts and execs from across the league to build a list of 14 under-the-radar prospects for the 2025 class. Let's dig in, in no particular order: Trey Moore, DE, Texas As one of the top players in the winter transfer portal, Moore made the jump from UTSA to the Longhorns and will fill a key role as the team's primary outside pass-rusher in a 4-2-5 defense. The 6-3, 235-pound junior has excellent first-step quickness and speed around the corner. That allowed him to post 14 sacks last season after having eight in his first year as a starter in 2022. One AFC scout who covers the state of Texas compared him to 247-pound edge rusher Dallas Turner, who went No. 17 overall to the Vikings in the 2024 draft. Tacario Davis, CB, Arizona Cornerbacks who are 6-4 and had 14 pass breakups in their first year as a starter are rarely under the radar, but that's the case for the Arizona junior. Sebastian Castro, CB, Iowa Yes, Iowa has another star cornerback to know for 2025: The 5-11 Castro is one of the best slot corners in the nation. He had three interceptions last season while proving he can handle quickness and power from opposing wide receivers. Aeneas Peebles, DT, Virginia Tech An undersized 3-technique pass-rusher at 6-1, 286 pounds, Peebles had five sacks at Duke last season but could be primed for a big 2024 season after transferring to Virginia Tech. "Going through next year's class, he jumps out with his first step and agility," an NFC East area scout said. "Really good rush plan." Clay Webb, G, Jacksonville State Webb, a five-star recruit coming out of high school in 2019, signed with Georgia and spent three years there, mostly working as a backup at left guard. Before the 2022 season, he transferred to Jacksonville State, where he started 10 games. Coming back for 2023, he started 12 games and earned first-team All-America and All-Conference USA honors. https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2025/insider/story/_/id/40272998/2025-nfl-draft-sleepers-scouts-pick-radar-prospects-risers
