Has a career passer rating of 100.8 and career ANY/A of 6.89 vs Burrow’s career 98.6 and career ANY/A of 6.52. Obligatory.
Danger
What this thread's really got me thinking. What if the Browns kept Baker and their 3 first round picks... they'd probably be legit super bowl contenders right now.
Danger
Are we really trying to argue DeShaun Watson over Joe Burrow at this point?? Are we using Pro Bowls to do it? Pro Bowl nods lost any meaning years ago.

Projecting their careers moving forward based on trajectories, I'd take Burrow over Watson. The argument you're making is moot, even if technically correct based on whatever meager accolades either of them have. Watson has a 0.0000000001% of making the hall of fame, and Joe Burrow has a 0.00000000009% chance.

Even if Watson dominates this season and continues to dominate, he probably still won’t make the HOF and he likely won’t get any accolades because he’s going to get the Kobe treatment after the Denver incident, only worse. Watson would have to throw for 6,000 passing yards and lead the Browns to 20-0 for him to win an MVP award or something at this point. But point is neither are sniffing the HOF at this point. Xmad
Steelers. Russell Wilson and or Justin Fields take that next step. Browns go 9-8. Deshaun dies mid season again. Lamar misses 4 games in the middle of the year where we go 1-3 and we go 10-7. Cincy finishes second in the divison but loses the crown to the steelers simply because Burrow misses 3 games with a sprained knee, 1 against the steelers to end the season as his knee flares up. And they would have been the team every neutral-ish fan wants to root for, like the AFC version of the Lions. There isn’t a soul who thought Cleveland should keep Baker outside of Browns fans after 2021, go check that thread. Hindsight is 20/20. A Baker led Browns team would basically have been the same as Flacco last year.

It was a bad fit with him and Stefanski though, Stefanski needs a less turnover prone Flacco, which he doesn't have. The issue is that it didn't have to be one or the other, they could have went many different ways and not had to sell the farm. Keeping Baker with the emotion he brought out in the city (negative) was a bad option, giving what they did to keep/retain Watson was even worse. 2 more years for a championship to happen to prove it was worth it. Watson/Burrow are the same caliber of player but one his an injury prone sex offender and the other is an injury prone Pocket Passer who will be remembered as the bengals second coming of Carson Palmer. Can't wait for the cardinals era.
