Dr LBC
https://x.com/RapSheet/status/1814087940424798712 The above is from the NFL Insiders portion earlier today. Ramcyzk had, earlier today, been placed on the PUP/Reserve list, as expected following slow recovery from offseason knee surgery. Per Rappaport, Ramcyzk has now been ruled out for the 2024 season. https://www.neworleanssaints.com/news/new-orleans-saints-right-tackle-ryan-ramczyk-placed-on-reserve-pup-list Taliese Fuaga is most definitely now going to get trial-by-fire at starting LOT as a rookie, which is where he's been working in camp thus far, with 2023 FRP Trevor Penning slotting in at ROT. El Ramster
Push his contract for 2034. The saints. I’m shocked they haven’t had a fire sale yet.

minutemancl
Being ruled out for the year in July because of an injury suffered the previous year is not good. Hopefully this doesn't mean the end of his career.

Mid Iowa
It's gonna be a long season for the Saints offense. The only possible silver lining would be if the 2 "new" guys can hold down the right side. A rookie, and a guy who hasn't been able to hold his previous position... Ugh...
sammymvpknight
Very likely the end of his career. The Saints took one step forward and one step backward this year. If they get better it'll be because Carr has another year with the Saints, and improvements at OC. I'm not holding my breath. Ramczyk (the pro bowl version) was phenomenal. But he wasn't that player last year. In reality, the knee issues were already an issue and limiting him and resulted in him missing games. It's a loss, but I wouldn't say it's a loss relative to what they had last year. Edited July 19 by sammymvpknight

At least as a Saint, no way they keep him around for that price next year.
SteelKing728
The Saints will be fine. They have like 10 FRPs put into their offensive line anyways.

There's some potential that with Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation they may be able to regenerate worn down cartilage in his knee, but that's really just to bring it back to a point of medial functionality, I'm not sure it's going to be to a point where it would withstand the rigors of high-level pro play at his position. But, at the very least, it should stave off the need to worry about total knee replacement which was the eventual prognosis 20 years ago for substantial knee cartilage ailments.
