He was producing on par with Kupp through week 8, guy is a legit WR. Guy had 54 rec 979 yds 5 TD in the 1st 9 gms before they started using him more as a RB and "gadget guy." Had receiving games of 189, 100, 171, 156 in that time. Deebo would want a record setting contract. Lastly highly doubt SF would entertain trading him to GB either. It's a non starter all the way around. If we use him as a traditional WR then he would be happy, and he'd probably rack up about 1600 yards if he stays healthy. I think the rumors he doesn't necessarily want a new contract now could have some credence too - some players want to bet on themselves, especially if he's not used like a RB. I'd only be interested in getting him if we extend Jaire. That frees up the tag for Deebo next year so we can trade him for an even bigger pick haul than it took to get him. I see him being valued at around the 28th pick in the draft right now and would be willing to give that up so we can improve our SB odds now. I remember last year when Aiyuk was in that doghouse and rumored to be on the trading block. Couple guys here said no way, not worth, not good enough.....etc. Then he got opportunities.
