Join JSO at the trial rate, then set a calendar reminder to cancel your online subscription a couple of weeks before your trial expires. After a couple "are you sure you want to cancel" questions, they'll offer to extend you another 6 or 12 months at the trial rate.  I've been doing that for years, and have never paid more than $1 a month.  Well worth it to me.  They cover Wisconsin sports pretty well.

EDIT: Same thing applies to The Athletic, even though their coverage of Wisconsin sports isn't great.

I mean this has to be one of the lazier 'gotcha' tweets I've seen in a minute.  Drafting a LS with almost the last pick in the draft barely counts as 'drafting a specialist'; I mean sure, it's not wrong, but it's awfully misleading to include with a 5th round punter and a 6th round kicker.  Scott is definitely not a miss to me; he struggled with inconsistencies in Green Bay but was far from a bust and has been elite with the Chargers.  Kicking in weather is hard, go figure.  And frankly I don't really understand why they're going with Joseph this year, unless it's something to do with holding.  Carlson's 50% from 40-49 last year was bad, no doubt, but not sure going with a different kicker with the exact same % from that distance last year is the best solution.  Meanwhile Joseph is 8 of 17 from 50+ and has missed 8 XPs the last two years, but maybe this is the year he'll figure it all out! Now if my numbers are right he did finish the TC competition at 57 of 73(78.1%) so just kidding he ain't figuring out  a damn thing, but at least Gute can sleep easy knowing whatever he's sitting on it ain't no hands baybeeeeeeee

Aren't all "gotcha" tweets lazy?

But, yeah, holding someone over the fire for a Mr. Near-Irrelevant, along with a 5th and 6th round pick, one of whom didn't work out here but clearly had the talent, and the 2nd of who is still early enough to be a "TBD"?

Back away from that edge, lord.

Well said Bob.

If a team is going to draft a P/K they should be prepared to ride it out a little, but in the case of Carlson and Scott they probably baled too early. Gutes approaches it like the couple that wants to have a baby, but only wants to be a little bit pregnant. Gutes should either get committed to the process or don't get into it at all.

As for drafting the LS, when drafting with the last couple of picks it often is taking a player that they don't believe they will be able to sign as a UDFA. It is nothing to held against any GM on any team.
