Time for Rich to earn that fat ST salary.

Such a disappointment.  I really thought he was the guy to deliver a top flight special teams to GB.  He's been marginally better than the past several jamokes, but I definitely expected much more.

it's very much an organizational philosophy.  They aren't willing to devote practice time or the best players to the units, so they will forever be hamstrung.

Bad ingredients = bad food.

Of last years top 10 ST leaders (not including specialists we're returning 6.  Of the top 15 we return 7.

Eric Wilson far and away the ST leader at 300

Cox/Melton both only contributed about 10 reps each.

Slaton a surprising major contributor with 150.

Owens-deguara-welch-leavitt gave us around 850 reps total

Ballentine-rochell-patrick taylor-Yosh were the last of the specials regulars we need to replace with 400 reps between them

Whats that really tell you? Idk but year over year lotta turnover on starting specials.

The new kickoff rules will almost certainly change how the reps are distributed.

Anderson will replace Leavitt

Sims will replace Deguara

Oladapo will replace Owens

Wilson and Balentine is still here

Glover will probably take over Yosh

Hopper is probably taking Welch snaps

Not sure about Patrick Taylor, maybe Evan Willams?

who are our 2 KOR people who have been back there?

Nixon and Reed i think. Wilson took a number of snaps in preseason. Its possible we will see Lloyd back there.

On KO, I assume it'll be Nixon and Wilson to start with(at least until Lloyd and Dillon return). Once Wilson falls back down the depth chart to Inactive/PS;
-Lloyd: Probable second threat once healthy. Not sure how proven he is as a returner.
-Melton: Most likely wideout to be the second guy, if active.
-Heath: More likely to be a blocker than outright returner, also if active.

For PR, it's probably Nixon again, with Reed being the 'hands' guy. If Toure is placed on the 69 he might be an emergency call up in case of injuries. If not, Melton would probably be the next guy up from what's available. Teams tend not to put running backs in this spot, so I don't see Wilson/Lloyd jumping in here.

It could also tell you we weren't very good, and we needed upgrades. Time will tell for sure on this one.

Yes, but it's also in a vacuum....how does it compare to GB historically, and is it worse/better than the rest of the league?
