I watched a couple interviews WIlks had in the past and I really like him. Seems like a guy our players would love and play hard for.

Im really getting on board with him! Glad we got him coming in for a interview!

Also if we switch to a 4-3 (Which im starting to really like the idea) do you think Dodd would be able to make it on the field and actually make some plays?

It would fit him better but I still don’t think he’d be anything special. I just don’t see anything good about Dodd. No explosive traits. Maybe play the strong side to anchor in the run game but Morgan will start most likely so he’d play most downs.

Also the Jeff Fisher jokes are hilarious and it'd be a disaster if we hired him(and we're not even going to interview him so it's a ridiculous point regardless), but nothing will ever make me hate Jeff Fisher. In some bizarro universe where we did hire Fisher I would not entirely hate it. That man is one of the biggest reasons I love football, and he and Philip Fulmer will never be hated by me, regardless of what Fulmer does as AD of the Vols and what Fisher would do in the impossible chance that he became HC again.

Random statement over lol

Well, after him declining to part ways with Robiskie, this was the normal course. So glad to see that Jon and Amy Adams didn't waste too much time making the decision.

However, I'd be pissed if after two years of rumors of McDaniels wanting badly to come here and countless of posts read about what could be if he'll ever pair with Mariota we miss on him.

If it's not McDaniels, I'd want someone like Wilks or Toub. But really I want McDaniels. If not, let them get someone they could trust to be a CEO type of coach, and allow an OC, preferably the right hire, to handle the offensive side of the ball.

Would we really be okay with Harbaugh? the guy ended his own career in a power struggle with the team. Not exactly someone I would have faith in as far as playing nice with Jrob. He would want to much control and wouldn't get it with Jrob here. As a coach yes he would be awesome but I feel like he would tear the team apart looking for as much power as possible.

Can someone explain the pros and cons to the following:

-Wilks
-Toub
-Vrabel
-Schwartz

Taking a quick shot at it:

Wilks:

Pros: Aggressive defensive style, likely returns to 4-3(though if you're a fan of the 3-4 maybe that's a negative?). Has been assistant head coach of a pretty successful Panthers franchise since 2015 learning under Ron Rivera. Prior to that had quite a bit of success coaching secondaries in Chicago, San Diego and now Carolina.

Cons: Only 1 year of coordinator experience, and while his defense has been good and aggressive, his head coach is a defensive specialist in Rivera, and McDermott before him left him a lot of good things to work with. Did coach 1 year as a head coach back in 1999 for Savannah State, going 5-6 before being fired.

Toub:

Pros: Has been one of the best special teams coaches in football for 15+ years, well respected as a leader and received numerous compliments regarding being loved by players/easy to play for. Worked under Andy Reid whose assistants have a pretty solid track record as head coaches.

Cons: Hasn't coached anything other than special teams since 2000 when he was the d-line coach for Mizzou, and has never been an offensive or defensive coordinator. Despite long history of success as ST coordinator and having HC interviews in the past, still hasn't been hired by anyone to do so, and is 55.

Schwartz:

Pros: Successful defenses at multiple stops(Tennessee, Buffalo, Philadelphia), brought Detroit it's first playoff appearance in 2011 since 1999, has a lot of connections regarding assistant coach possibilities around the NFL.

Cons: Despite bringing Detroit a playoff appearance, had a losing record in 4 of 5 seasons, and was known to have serious lack of discipline issues. While his defenses are successful, they generally require dominant front 4 play, and his secondaries are known to falter.

Truthfully know little about Vrabel, so won't bother lol.
