And how many 10+ yard runs have been called back due to penalty this year? At least 4 of them I can remember.

yep - that's been brought up often in GDT and Post-game ones as well. Get that cleaned up, and this machine will start churning, especially the play action for more potential free looks for Love.

I love what Jacobs has brought so far, his running style and violence once he gets into linebackers and secondary. Miss Jones to pieces, but Jacobs can play all 3 downs and turn the screws on a D later in games, and hopefully especially in the second half of the season in some winter games. Pray the man (and line) stays healthy and fresh down the stretch.

We haven't had an angry bowling ball of a RB in quite some time. Hella fun to watch!

Garrett has to be so frustrated.   All this talk (not from you, but from the talking heads and his QB) that he's had tough matchups and teams are scheming to take him away is bunk.    He had ****all at QB and skill position help for the last two yrs and put up 1100 and 1000 yards as option #1a and #1b.   Rodgers needs to start throwing that man the ball.

Wilson needs to get open more if he wants the ball and catch the ones that are thrown to him. He's had some very weak hands the last couple weeks. Can't expect to get a whole lot of passes thrown your way when you are constantly fumbling and letting guys swat the ball out of your hands.

Yep makes him untradable.  He's have to agree to redo his contract otherwise forget it.

if Adams wants out of LV, he will agree to a contract restructure.  Pretty easy for him to agree to converting as much of his remaining base salary to signing bonus that gets spread out over the remaining length of the contract (or added void years)

Think LV will have to eat some of it.  Going to be a complicated trade.  Got to think the Jets and KC would be the teams most interested.  We'll see what happens.  Heard his contract is not guaranteed past this year.  If that is the case maybe they can work something out.  Big cap hits so how they spread that out dunno.

I wouldn’t want to go to the Jets tho. Even with Adams, I don’t see them going very far (they just have that feeling like they’re destined to crash and burn). And what if  Rodgers hangs them up after this season?  I doubt Adams wants to be stuck with another ****ty organization for a couple years.

Maybe we can glue Watson back together and trade him and a 5th or something for Adams and bring him home.

Adams has a base of $16.8M for 2024.  4/17 of that has been paid, so that brings it down to around $13M that is remaining.  LV could restructure that to signing bonus and take on around $11.5M (leaving a vet minimum level base salary to be paid out over the remaining weeks of the season.  Adams has no guaranteed money for the remaining years 2025 and 2026, so any team trading for him could get out of the large base salary amounts in those years without any dead cap and make Adams a UFA so he could sign where ever he wants.

KC has only $4.9M in cap space, so any trade with them would need a restructure to make it happen and that would increase the compensation for LV.  NYJ have $16M in cap space, so they could take on more (with LV not need to convert as much of the 2024 base into signing bonus).

KC makes the most sense for him and the team.

Adams has done the Rodgers show, he wants to write his future in the absence of him. The Jets are already loaded at WR. The Chiefs have a need with Rice out, and even with Rice in they weren't quite clicking.

They might only have $4.9m in cap space but can easily create some by kicking the can down the road and converting some base salaries into signing bonuses. They have the ability to do it if they want to.

The easiest option to make some space is by cutting Justin Reid is on a base salary of $9m - last year of the deal. Cutting him saves $6m and it's not like he is integral to the team

Jwan Taylor has a $19.5m base salary, that would be an easy conversion

Joe Thuney has a $15.5m base salary

If they did that to either one these guys, and they wouldn't necessarily have to convert it all to signing bonus, but it would make their future cap hits look undesirable for either player. With Thuney it would be worse as he only has one year left on his deal after this year and he is already 32.

But the chance to do a threepeat and get probably one of the best WRs in the NFL might be too good to pass up, even if it screws up the cap a little in the future.

They can do it. They should do it!

The need here meets the opportunity. I can't see this not happening.

I know KC can do it.  I very much doubt KC would cut a starter for that to be workable.  Just send a better pick to LV vs cut a starter
