Well, there's very little correlation between "scoring high on the wonderlic" and "being good at football" for any position, and there's basically nothing about "is this guy a dumbass" you couldn't figure out from talking to him for 5 minutes.  Plus, it's not like we don't send scouts to schools that couldn't find out "this kid thinks 2+2=-3, without requiring a field of order 7."

That's fine for a yes/no qualitative answer. "He's a dumbass !"
The Wonderlic tries to assess "how big of a dumbass is he ?"  giving employers a quantitative result

And now these pro leagues use the AIQ test instead -  which was designed for athletes.

https://athleticintel.com/the-aiq/

"The Athletic Intelligence Quotient (AIQ) is a mental analytics tool currently being used by MLB teams (including World Series winners), NFL teams (including Super Bowl winners), NBA teams, NHL teams, MLS teams, Division 1 teams (including FBS Bowl Winners and a no. 1 ranked basketball team), Olympic training facilities, and training academies.

The AIQ measures the intellectual abilities most used in attaining, enhancing, and applying athletic skills. Just as a stopwatch measures speed, the AIQ provides valuable information about an athlete’s performance-specific intellectual abilities. The AIQ identifies an athlete’s mental strengths and weaknesses, helps coaches train athletes to reach the highest level of performance, and aids management and player personnel in scouting and roster decisions."

I know he is a bit of a clown show… but if this is true and Brown has all the evidence he is claiming, Bucs have some explaining to do.

Didnt need to strip on the field, but yeah. Crazy situation.

Does anyone even question that Bruce Arians is a steaming pile of dog crap?  He’s an idiot, gullible enough to be played by Brady and whoever else he’s dumb enough to listen to.  I hope the Buc’s season comes crashing down in spectacular hell-fire.  And none of this absolves Brown for the steaming pile he is also.  That entire franchise is built on a foundation of fookery!

we'll see what comes out of this but if even part of this is true, Arians and the Bucs should come under some major fire.

Adam Schefter -   Last week, Antonio Brown and his agent requested that the remaining $2 million in incentives in his contract for this season be guaranteed. The team declined to guarantee those incentives.  Antonio Brown did not tell anyone on the Bucs’ medical staff about his ankle bothering him on gameday before the game against the Jets or during it, per Bucs’ GM Jason Licht.

Ian Rapoport -

"Regardless of anything that goes on after the season, I can stand proud.”

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer speaks on his uncertain future.

Doesn’t sound like he is going to be back if he is making these comments.

QB's and the media having all sorts of chatter......

Mary Kay Cabot - Baker Mayfield must resolve his differences with Kevin Stefanski in case they need to co-exist next season. Even if Mayfield does mend the fences, he might not be back if the Browns decide to upgrade, which seems likely at this point. But he and Stefanski can’t run it back unless they hash things out and find a path forward.

  • Baker Mayfield -   You and many other Cleveland local media continue to be drama stirring reporters with no sources or facts. Don’t put words in my mouth so you can put food on your table. I’m not your puppet.

Chris Tomasson -   Vikings co-DC Adam Zimmer on team ranked No. 31 in NFL in total defense, etc.

"It's been disappointing as far as where the rankings are." But he said they're "close" to being a good defense.

Close....and yet so far.
