NFLGURU
Any legal beagles in here know what the laws are involving the Giants and Flores. I know it looks bad, makes the Giants look like crap, but what did they do that was illegal. I'm not sure if they filled the Rooney Rule or not, and it looks really bad ethically, The NFL will probably hammer them,, but was there anything done illegally? Don't know, just curious. Leader
Ian Rapoport - Doug Pederson and the Jaguars have now agreed in principle. He’s their new coach.

Not surprising with reports today that Leftwich removed his name from consideration. I'll still always think of Pederson as Favre's backup. PossibleCabbage
The Khan's will hang on to Baalke come hell or high water, but they can't find anything to do with Brian Cage in AEW. SMH.
Leader
NFL Rumors - Two coaches that the Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to look at for DC are Mike Zimmer and Vic Fangio. With Pederson at HC...either one at DC would make for a good team. Not sure who's on their radar for OC.
Leader
Kevin Seifert - The NFL may not be able to publicly release the findings of its internal investigation of the Washington Commanders without the explicit permission of owner Daniel Snyder. /// Read: It ain't happening. Leader
Albert Breer - Weird fact coming out of this coaching cycle: If things stay as they are, 3 of Bill Belichick's old players (Mike Vrabel, Kliff Kingsbury, Kevin O'Connell), but just 2 of his ex-assistants (Josh McDaniels, Brian Daboll) will be among the NFL's 32 head coaches in 2022. /// People must figure some sort of "organizational magic" rubs off on all these NE guys. It's clear as day none of them has come close to repeating Belichick's W-L success.
Leader
Adam Schefter - Anthony Lynn is being hired as the Assistant Head Coach of the San Francisco 49ers, per league sources. Lynn - who had other NFL and college offers - is expected to now be a key cog in the 49ers’ offense and run game. Lynn’s offenses and backfields have produced as some of the highest rushing totals in the league over the past decade. He helped Tyrod Taylor field one of the league’s top 10 offenses jn Buffalo, and molded an offense in which Justin Herbert won rookie of the year. He's suing all the defendants (32 teams) for Section 1981 violations (a federal race discrimination/civil rights law), as well as two separate NY state laws prohibiting employment discrimination, and suing the Giants specifically under New Jersey law as well. Finally, he'll file an EEOC charge soon that will have to mature for about six months so that he can then amend and add a Title VII claim against all 32 teams.
Leader
ProFootballTalk - We learned today that a supposedly independent investigation aimed at eradicating sexual harassment in the Washington Commanders workplace and holding wrongdoers accountable was actually an exercise in crafting a defense against possible lawsuits. Let that sink in. The Commissioner was complicit in this effort. Also, he basically used victims of sexual harassment who requested anonymity as human shields, to justify the effort to keep all evidence buried. Quite. The. Day. /// Not sure where this is coming from....those Congressional hearings? Dont know. Edited February 5, 2022 by Leader

Makes a lot of sense with Trey Lance being handed the reigns this season. The west is brutal right now, all four teams look strong heading into the offseason.
