Leader
Albert Breer - The Vikings finished up a 9-hour interview with Giants DC Patrick Graham, with Graham meeting with people throughout the organization. As we said before, he and GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah have a very solid relationship. /// Maybe they're gonna offer Harbaugh the HC job....contingent on him accepting Graham as his DC

PossibleCabbage
To me, they will always be the Washington Football Team. The sheer poetry of "Eagles vs. Team" can't be beaten.

Leader
Apparently it's a thing. Not a good look for an organization with such close ties to gambling concerns. PFT - Former Dolphins coach Brian Flores alleges Dolphins owner Stephen Ross offered him $100,000 per loss during the 2019 season in order to ensure the team would wind up with the first overall pick and former Browns coach Hue Jackson made similar allegations in response to Flores’ lawsuit going public on Tuesday. Jackson responded to a tweet about the case by saying Browns owner Jimmy Haslam “was happy while we kept losing” and then wrote "trust me it was a good number" in response to someone who said Haslam wasn’t offering $100,000 per loss. Jackson, who is now the head coach at Grambling, went 1-31 over his first two seasons with the Browns and was fired after a 2-5-1 start in 2018. I mean is it that shocking everyone knew they were trying to lose for Tua (at the time)… which then turned into Burrow. Better question is why didn’t the Owner just have the GM release players are told the medical staff to not play any injuries players etc. there are other ways to tank outside of making the football coach throw games. You could literally get the worse option at QB…
Reaper
So question: does a player who was on a bad team that was losing on purpose have an argument that his next contract was affected by the manipulation the coach did to ensure a loss? I kind of expect that if it can be proven that the losses were intentional a case could be made.

Leader
PFT - The NFL thrives in good times and in bad. The bad times that have suddenly arrived on the NFL’s doorstep may test that reality like nothing ever has. The league has its first major integrity-of-the-game scandal of the legalized betting era. Former Dolphins coach Brian Flores claims that team owner Stephen Ross offered Flores $100,000 per loss in 2019. Former Browns coach Hue Jackson has made similar claims, and the executive director of Jackson’s foundation claims that she has documentation to show that Jackson, former Browns executive Sashi Brown, current Browns executive Paul DiPodesta, and current G.M. Andrew Berry received bonuses in 2016 and 2017, seasons that culminated in the Browns “earning” the first overall pick in the next draft. So what will NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell do about this? Will owners, who are supposedly held to the same standard as players (eye roll emoji), be investigated aggressively? Will they be punished, if the facts show that the contentions are true? Or will the league look the other way, brushing the claims under the rug and/or aggressively denying their accuracy and/or pretending like none of it ever happened? It may be impossible for the league to do nothing. Congress already has taken action regarding the clumsy coverup of the Washington Football Team toxic workplace investigation. How long until one or more committees send a letter to Commissioner Roger Goodell seeking information about the claim that multiple teams TRIED TO LOSE GAMES? /// I agree. This is a big problem.
