ESPN Commentator: Anyone going to outbid the Buccs on LeVeon Bell?

ESPN Analyst: The answer has to be a solid no. Here's why, the Buccaneers are in the $17,000,000 range plus or minus for Bell's services. If the Steelers wanted him, they should have kept the tag. Outside of that, who is in Bell's market? The Giants? Well they have roughly 35 million in cap room and I simply can't see them bidding near what the Buccaneers are rumored to be offering especially when the Giants have to either resign Pugh and Richburg or otherwise rebuild their offensive line. Perhaps the Jets, Browns, or Colts are in the mix with their roughly $90mil in cap, but who knows. Perhaps other teams will release a number of players to the free agency pool in an effort to open room for such an addition.

ESPN Commentator: How confident are you that Bell is being offered that much money?

ESPN Analyst: Because that's how bluffs work, either the Buccs are offering what's rumored, or some one else is going to up their price to secure their offseason trophy.

FREE AGENCY NEWS

The free agency is heating up as the deadline approaches, with more than 121 qualifying offers made and climbing it looks to be a great showing of talent coming off the boards in round one.  But not everyone can be a winner as teams adjust their bids daily in hopes of landing their targets, roughly 48% of the offers submitted are going to miss out.  Now whether this changes by the deadline is completely unpredictable, but with this news, we expect teams to continue to make adjustments as the pressure mounts.
