As far as the active roster is concerned, I don’t think I’d take him over the top 4 linebackers, who actually see snaps as linebackers, and the special teams coverage units have been very solid this year. So, where’s the need? I certainly wouldn’t be opposed to adding him to the practice squad, it seems as though a couple of spots are going to be opening up soon.
