Taking on a backup role too. Figured he’d be in the mix to start somewhere. I’m sure he’ll be in at some point.

He might be doing what Trubisky did last season or what Dalton did 2 seasons ago.

With the right opportunity, he'll probably be a starter again, even if its just as a journal or...wait for it...bridge QB. 😎

He'll never likely be a starter again, outside of injury, but he can make a Fitzmagic/Josh McCown type of career like he's doing, in continuing to go places with fragile QB situations.

Right, he’s basically the new Ryan Fitzpatrick. A quality backup that still seems to have some starter intrigue for whatever reason. He wil bounce around to teams looking to draft a franchise QB and he can be a stop gap or places that have young QBs who’ve yet to take the next step. Seems like a good gig if you can manage being on a new team every other year.

The Eagles have agreed to terms with safety Anthony Harris on a one-year deal, Zach Berman of TheAthletic.com reports.

Harris, 30, is returning for a second season in Jonathan Gannon’s defense having started 14 games for the Eagles last season. He had 70 tackles, one interception and three pass breakups in 2021.
