Wasn't he originally a Packer?

He was drafted by the Vikings. Had a nice rise and looked good for a year. This led to an unfortunate contract that looked worse owing to injury. The Vikings got out of it but have never settled the position.

Los Angeles Rams general manager Les Snead said Wednesday the team is attempting to re-sign center John Sullivan and linebacker Connor Barwin, per Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com. Sullivan and Barwin were both signed to one-year deals a year ago and helped turn the Rams from a moribund roster into a playoff team for the first time in 13 years.

Barreiro should call up Sully and have him talk about Cousins.  :D

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Giants have invited Rams center John Sullivan to visit, leaving open the question of whether Sullivan accepted their invitation. Washington is also interested, after losing center Spencer Long to the Jets.

The Giants have been extremely active on that front, signing left tackle Nate Solder and guard Patrick Omameh. They also put the second-round restricted free agent tender on center Brett Jones, so adding Sullivan would likely move him to guard.

why would Sullivan leave LA? That was a great spot for him.

I also wonder what Miami releasing Pouncey does to Sully's market?
