plan9misfit
@Texas_OutLaw7, the Cowboys’ Facebook page made a special video just for you. The Great L.P. wished you and the rest of us a Happy Canada Day. VIVA!!

htfryar
Is it really a victory though? I mean, yeah, at some point, L.P. will retire. That happens with every great player. It just happened with Romo and Witten. How exactly are you winning when L.P. decides it's time to hang up the cleats and walk away from the game? flyingmonkey30
So we have until sometime next week to sign Lawrence long term, is that right?

Are they even working towards it yet? Lawrence said at the pro bowl that he would actually be good if they tagged, and of course they did. Methinks he'll be cheaper now than he will be next year fwiw. Even if he "just" hits 10 sacks.

DaBoys
If the Cowboys want to save money in the long run, and are intent on signing him, the sooner the better. Even if he only hits 8 sacks. That's 22.5 sacks over the last two seasons, and someone is going to go nuts over him in FA as the cost of FA contacts go up every season. I hope that it's not us going nuts. If we want Lawrence on a semi reasonable deal it needs to be done now. It's no wonder Lawrence is in no hurry to sign. He doesn't even have to be an all star next year to get paid. He had 7 sacks in 7 games in 2015, and he's so much more refined now. This is going to be a big year for him, especially if he plays motivated on a tag. matt79511
Yeah at this point I would be pretty stunned to see D-Law extended this summer. I would actually rate the odds of us pulling off an Earl Thomas trade as higher (like 25% vs. 15%)
flyingmonkey30
Pretty serious allegations against LeSean McCoy - domestic, child, and animal abuse, plus PED's according to an ex's friend. Posted a pretty graphic picture on Instagram and said McCoy did it. Bad look especially since he was involved as a suspect in a bar fight with off-duty police officers (think charges were dropped though).

DaBoys
"Everyone in our locker room knows that Earl loves the Cowboys," Avril said. "I mean, he grew up in Texas. That's just who he is. He will leave immediately after work just to catch them play on Monday Night Football. You know what I mean? So we understand that. We didn't take it too serious."
