Bianconero
Just now, JetsandI said: Genard Avery has height and arm length issue but oh boy, I want him to replace DeMario Davis. Big and fast. I don't know if Memphis is part of Maccagnan's scouting area but Vanderbilt and Tennessee are SEC schools so I am sure they can stop by Memphis for quick look. I can't believe Jets scouts did not visit Princeton to check out QB Chad Kanoff. Save for locally invite? I'll meet up with Macc and bring him Hoagie Haven Tell him who we want at

Alex McGough can have a NFL career but he has a long way to go. One read and lock/abandon. Under pressure, he was forced to throw to his man of a play a lot. Whether or not he was covered. Missed a several opens. Stare down and linger in getting rid of football.
JetsandI
I have looked at Chase Litton and Riley Ferguson as a late rounder to pair up with either Teddy Bridgewater or Josh McCown. Litton has arm strength but his throwing mechanism is awful. That is why many of his passes were underthrown. If Josh McCown is our starter next season then Litton could be a good project to replace McCown. Both are similar so Litton may loose his throwing mechanism up by working with McCown. Problem is if McCown is a starter then he has no time mentoring Litton. Ferguson is working on body weight. He has balls to make all throws. Unfortunately, he played one read offense. He releases football variously. The opportunity to have QB pairing doesn't look promising. *sigh*

jetskid007
The Jets contingent is at the USC pro day. Obviously Sam Darnold is the main draw, but a lot of players there will be on our radar... Rasheem Green and Unchenna Nwosu are two athletic pass rushers likely going on day 2, RB Ronald Jones (unlikely to be in our range), and WR Deontay Burnett, who I think will be someone we look at in round 4-

Rockice_8
I'm thinking BPA pass rusher or a future LT prospect like Brian O'Neill from Pitt my be the best use of our 3rd rounder. It's really our best shot to land a future starter after the pick at #3. 4th and beyond are long shots. 3rd will still have developmental talent. Ejiofor and O'Neill are two guys I think could be solid starters in round 3.

LT is not necessary a need since Beachum played ok last year. But when you can add a LT who has the potential to be above average, you have to pull the trigger. JetsandI
Is the eastern part Pennsylvania counted as a local visit for Jets? Jets had met a several scat type RB in person; Nyheim Hines, Roc Thomas, Chase Edmonds, Martez Carter and Jeff Badet?. I can see Jets risk 3rd round pick on Hines since he was from power 5 school but Jets have yet to collect a viable TE via FA or trade. Jets have a plenty of scat type RB for 4th-6th round pick. As far as pass rushing concerns, I don't see anything excited from Jets' standpoint. Harold Landry? Nope. Marcell Frazier? Nope. Joe Ostman? Nope. That shows Jets ain't interested in a twitch edge or pass rushing specialist. Whatever! Jets may eye on a several DE/OLB, not edge for a "2 gap look" or "strong run support" job. That would mean Duke Ejiofor may be out of picture. It is really hard to find one like Chandler Jones. Jordan Jenkins has run support with 1.59 split but he is no sack artist. I believe Todd Bowles had only one pass rushing specialist in his career as DC/HC. His name is John Abraham. That's it. Jets love Bilal Nichols very much. He could be ended up in 2nd or 3rd. If it was the latter then him being a Jet would be a possibility. If Jets actually draft Josh Allen then I want Penn's WR Justin Watson. Both clicked each other just fine in the Senior Bowl week. Jets have collected extra WR players for new quarterback. Nobody knows which WR will click with new qb well so Allen and Watson could be a good start. I don't remember me being less excited for any single Draft. sigh.

rickyt31
It's tough to say who will be there for the third. We'll have some good RB options, but I can see someone like Rankin, M.Cole, Turay, Jewell, Braden Smith, or others being out there. I'm hoping for a good OLB to be out there. JetsandI
That is a local prospect for Jets but a few prospects from Temple, located in Philadelphia, went to Jets' facility for pre-draft local visit. I don't understand. NFL should eliminate non local and local bs. Should have pumped up 40 visits for power 5 school prospects and 80 visits from non power 5 school, whether conference and level.
