Honestly who can match Holloway at 145? Feel like there's no one at this class who even has a chance against him right now. Maybe Yair just by catching him with some crazy ish.

The only two fights I want to see right now for Max are Khabib and Conor. Anyone else feels like a step down

Zabit vs. Moicano for the title shot. That makes sense.

Speeds up Zabit's development but I don't think he will mind.

I made a bit of money on blessed tonight. Props to ortega for being a savage and putting on a great fight.

I want max to see conor next and i think it goes to max this time. If conor wants it at 145 or 155 either way i see it for max.

For t-city how about mendes? I think thats a solid rebound fight for him maybe in may or june.

Max's only weakness, no KO power. He either wins by volume but if the dude is too tough he doesn't finish.

Does he need it though? He is still so fast that he can beating you with combinations. If anything its probably good for him mentally that he doesn't have it. He won't be swinging for the fences looking for something he doesnt have.

I agree with Tony, but with Khabib it's all about staying on your feet. Max's TDD looked good tonight, but Ortega isn't near the TD specialist Khabib is.

I do think Max would win that matchup though, strictly because of his cardio and ability to control distance.

His cardio would get tested unlike nothing else though because Khabib just murders your gas tank. I know Max should touch him up a ton but it would be an interesting fight. I don't think Tony would be an easy fight for Max though. He does some weird stuff and is still a much better striker than T-City. He does some weird stuff that is hard to prepare for and great cardio as well. There's a 5 round fight that could go the distance and be FOTY

who is even the next challenge for Max at 145? the only reasonable options are frankie and moicano but frankie just got finished on his feet by Ortega and Moicano basically got finished on his feet by Ortega (he shot in because Ortega's pressure and striking was getting to him).

Zabit would be interesting but he's ranked 14th rn.

Moicano is the only other fight I want to see for Max at FW(unless Conor drops down) Frankie couldn't beat Aldo and lost to T-City. Just isn't that exciting imo although Frankie does have some slick skills on the feet and cardio for days as well. He just got caught. So maybe I talked myself into that but I just dont think you can sell it that well

I love Dustin, he's on a great run and deserves a big fight, but Conor vs Max and Khabib vs Tony are the two fights to make right now. Have 145 work out who the next contender is in the meantime.

Yea Dustin could be the odd man out. I think Diaz is even farther out but because he is a name the casuals love he might get in the conversation at 155 sooner rather than later.

I agree with you 100% Buck that UFC needs a 165 division.  Simply too many killers at 155. Heck even some of these guys that went from 155 to 170 like RDA, Cerrone, Chiesa might benefit from dropping to 165 too

Yea I predicted T-City but if you told me Max was the betting underdog I'd be all over that. They need to legalize gambling here and fast. I got money to make on the blessed era

I still think crackhead conor would beat Holloway. I'd like to see Ferguson and Khabib, the winner fights conor vs poirier, then the winner of khabib conor fights holloway.

I said to my buddies before this fight that if Max is actually healthy and not the max of 6 months ago, he'll beat Ortega and that's exactly what happened.
