I think he has talent, doesn't seem consistent with his catch point all the time. I think overall he's pretty good with it. Like he shows he can stretch out but does a fair amount of body catches too. Could be the QB though. Don't know his speed will hold up. He's got short lower legs so he kinda looked like a short strider. Will be harder against teams that play D unlike the Big 12 and NFL speed at corner. I think that helps him with maneuverability though at the end of routes. Could be a guy that gets you a couple extra yards at the end of each run. Wonder what he'll run. Skillset overlaps a little with Alshon and Hollins (if he is anything for us still), but 2020/2021 Alshon's dead money is manageable and his cap number hits $15 mil...so they could move on if he doesn't stay healthy. Seems solid

ninjapirate
the odds of us drafting a running back in round 1 have to be super low right? It will be a QB OL DL or CB. That's the Andy Reid way. Although I do like Jacobs and would love for us to have a running game surrounding him.

He’s still productive and a great piece of are rotation that we value highly over 7 mill cap You have no idea if he'll still be productive or if our FO values him that much. I'd cut Chris Long too. It's time for a youth movement on the DL. Frank Clark/Derek Barnett/Josh Sweat/Curtis Granderson/Some cheap vet FA. I'm cool with that for a year. Clark is a better pass rusher than Bennett and Graham. Hopefully Granderson could contribute as a rook. As long as Barnett comes back healthy and Sweat improved a little bit, the DE's wouldn't be any worse. Add Tillery at DT, and the DL as a whole is better. Yet you think it's horrible, because we lose a 33 year old rotational DE. You're being silly. After the cuts I made, we could afford Justin Houston and Frank Clark. I have us just signing Clark though, so we can roll over a bunch of extra money a year from now, when it's time to extend Carson.

Got us looking like the browns trying to get a haul. Hate the tillery pick, hes not a 1st rounder. The rest of the draft is meh. No real impact players. Love the Clark and Wright signing although Wright is up in age. Conley and Covington are good value signings.
