So did we ever figure out what benched officially for rest means for us here

I don't think there's an official stance, some will view it as, "they aren't hurt and should be able to play," some will view it as "rules is rules, they are inactive IRL, they're inactive here, lol."

Between us 7/8 voters there's no issue starting a guy like Gurley. I will only penalize a guy who was injured coming in, tweaked the injury during the game, and their production is significantly limited as a result.

Also GG @bcb1213

Very strong team you've built and a deserved win. Will be impressive if you manage to knock off the top 3 seeds and win the whole thing this week.

Disappointed with how it ended, but after a decent run throughout the year with injuries I could feel something like this may happen. Team will only get better next year.

If your guy is hurt and is inactive because his IRL squad wants to give him additional time to heal for the PO (Tyrion Smith last year) or doesn't want to aggravate the injury for a meaningless game (AJ Green last year) then he is out. If your guy is healthy but gets rest IRL for the playoffs (Alex Smith this year, Big Ben and Leveon Bell last year) then he is in.

But couldn't you make the argument that our team in this league 'needs' the player in a non-meaningless game, if he would otherwise be good enough to suit up for a serious game with playoff implications, he should be able to suit up for our league?

True but where do we draw the line? How do we know if Robert Ayers for example could have played last week if the Bucs were a playoff contender? End of the year injuries are a tricky question hence why we couldn't find a consensus last year on how to solve it. We will address it again this offseason meeting though

So for the Owners Meeting I've got the following topics so far.

1. Officially change the end of voting to Noon EST on Wed.

2. Extend Waivers into the playoffs.

3. Revisit Week 17 inactives/sitting players

4. Reduce Active Roster size from 70 to 65. (more on this in the next post)

First thing we need to do is find either a 16th owner or see if anyone wants to step down/become a co-owner and go to 14 (lots of benefits to this)
