Matt Nagy looks like he knows he’s on borrowed time. Sadly, he’s coaching like he’s got everything to lose, when in reality, he’s got nothing lose. He'll light us up then when we play them, huh? lol

Nagy should be playing for an OC job, since he's never been HC material...but he's even screwing that up.

The Bears need to completely start over like the Lions have, but hire a new GM and coach that will suit Fields' strengths. Pace has failed with both HC hires he's had and wasted the prime years of that defense. Edited September 27, 2021 by swede700

vike daddy
A day later, the Bears still aren’t sure how serious quarterback Justin Fields‘ rib injury is. Bears coach Matt Nagy said today that the Bears are still evaluating Fields’ injury and it’s too soon to say whether he’ll be available to play on Thursday against the Lions. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/11/22/matt-nagy-bears-still-evaluating-justin-fields-rib-injury/
SteelKing728
My guess is their better QB starts Thursday (Dalton).
wcblack34
Word out of Chicago is that Matt Nagy has already been told he'll be let go after Thursday's game. This makes zero sense. At all. Why would they want him to coach that game, and why would he want to coach that game? No good comes of it for the Bears.

I’ve never understood firing a coach mid season, period. Unless there’s some serious internal issues going on. But if it’s just as a result of performance, it makes no sense.

The rules have changed where teams can interview candidates as soon as Week 17, so I guess they could get a jump on that.
swede700
It's certainly odd to be told that Thursday is your last game in advance of the game. What's the upside to even letting him coach that one? So, it appears that I get my wish. I'm certainly fine with it.
