Nagy was nothing more than a result of Doug Pederson’s success.

The Bears need to completely start over like the Lions have, but hire a new GM and coach that will suit Fields' strengths.  Pace has failed with both HC hires he's had and wasted the prime years of that defense.

A day later, the Bears still aren’t sure how serious quarterback Justin Fields‘ rib injury is.

Bears coach Matt Nagy said today that the Bears are still evaluating Fields’ injury and it’s too soon to say whether he’ll be available to play on Thursday against the Lions.

Word out of Chicago is that Matt Nagy has already been told he'll be let go after Thursday's game. This makes zero sense. At all. Why would they want him to coach that game, and why would he want to coach that game? No good comes of it for the Bears.

Even if they win, he's gone no matter what??

I’ve never understood firing a coach mid season, period. Unless there’s some serious internal issues going on. But if it’s just as a result of performance, it makes no sense.

The rules have changed where teams can interview candidates as soon as Week 17, so I guess they could get a jump on that.
