JDBrocks
The Bears will never be consistently good until new ownership/management comes in. Look at all of the decisions that have been made above GM level since Lovie Smith was let go. Edited November 23, 2021 by JDBrocks

Well, unless the McCaskeys all of a sudden have a change of heart towards Ted Phillips, I don't know if it can change. He's the one that has hired their GMs Jerry Angelo and Ryan Pace. That's the point I was trying to make - the decision makers at the top are going to have to be replaced before the Bears can be consistently good. I wish the Vikes could get over that curse.

Art Rooney would think so too. plus, they'll ask Frazier, "What would you do to make the Bears defense better?" and take notes.

I really hope he's seen as more than just a Rooney-Rule interview. Maybe he'll come back and play for them lol
swede700
It's more than just for Rooney Rule compliance...he was, in fact, a member of the '85 Bears. Therefore, he has a real connection to their short history of glory years.

swede700
You know what I just thought about this morning? How apparently the Bears are fascinated with/hooked on hiring guys as their GM that are named Ryan P. Doing the same, expecting different results.
