Vikes_Bolts1228 1,841
Lions picking 7th.... Package 7, a 2022 1st, and two 2021 3rds for pick 2 (Fields?)

With Goffs contract you might as well build talent and give Goffs replacement a solid supporting cast while Goff takes the lumps.

I really like this move for the Lions. Who wouldn't like the move from the Lions' perspective. Figures that it was the Rams that just throw away first round picks like they're garbage. I still hold to my position that it's crazy talk to give the Lions two 1st rd picks for Stafford...and Les Snead is the one that should be admitted to the sanitarium for doing it. But, it comes as no surprise from him. I'm still amazed that he's lasted as long at his job with such a history of poor management of the roster as he has had. Right now, it's McVay that's saved his job. Edited February 1 by swede700

SteelKing728 2,446
Maybe their Wideouts will learn how to throw touchdown passes to themselves. They might need to with Stafford gone.
SteelKing728 2,446
It should be fun watching Goff wildly miss throwing to Williams.
vike daddy 3,293
Running back Jamaal Williams is leaving the Green Bay Packers but staying in the NFC North. According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Williams is set to sign a two-year deal worth up to $7.5 million with the Detroit Lions. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/03/17/jamaal-williams-heading-to-lions-on-two-year-deal/
SteelKing728 2,446
Even with AD gone, they have put a lot of resources into the RB position. Which is good for them because now they can rely on Goff less.
