Fire & Blood says: The dragon is more likely to devour him. D&D says: Drogon forgot who his rider was and figured Jon was good as any.
BayRaider
I also could see Jon taking over Drogon. Would be hard to calm him down after Danny dies though.

Why on earth would you devote so much time to a series and then completely halfass the culmination of it?

Its possible that happened because of the Wild Fire or maybe they cut down all those trees for weapons and such. Still don't know why there wouldn't be any grass. One of then was quoted saying from the beginning they always viewed it as roughly 73 hours...which is total bull****. If they didn't want to truly finish it and wanted to move on then they should have stepped down as showrunners. That's ridiculous. I feel cheated. Cause you get hired by Disney to go work on their projects. So why not halfass it then go on to something new you want to do.

Well like Seminoles said, they should have stepped down if that were the case. I think I read somewhere that even Martin has been disappointed with this season.
