Whicker
Orlando Game Plan Offensive Game Plan Formation: Single Back, Shotgun, SpreadScheme: West Coast Offensive Line This will be a battle, the Sentinels have a talented group of pass rushers on the front four, but the injury to Everson Griffin does make it a tad easier. On passing downs the running back when on the field will provide additional blocking to give Rivers a pocket to throw from, if the pressure continues we'll slide coverage and allow Rivers to roll out. Passing Strategy We look to spread the ball around, not focusing on a single receiver. Mike Evans and Allen Robinson will be used to stretch the field running post, slant, fade and go routes. Willie Snead will run the slot with a scattered route tree but primarily focused on In, Out and post routes 6-10 yrds off the LOS. We’ll get Alvin Kamara involved in the passing game this week, by putting him on the line as a receiver in spread formations. We’re going to bring Rob Gronkowski’s route tree in close 2-6 yrds off the line most of the time, with the very occasional deeper route. This week he’ll primarily act as the dump for Rivers should pressure come his way. Rushing Strategy Our primary back this week will be Tevin Coleman, he does have some receiving ability but we want him running north and south to tire this defense out. 12-15 carries with Royce Freeman coming in when needed to continue. Expect Kamara to get about 5 carries as he’ll primarily be used in this passing game to get Rivers as many targets downfield as possible. Defense Game Plan Formations: Base 34 Defense / 335 NickelStrategy: Our strategy this week is to get after Jimmy G and limit the rushing game. Jimmy G in his last two games has been sacked 9 times (3rd in the league), has thrown 3 picks (tied for 4th) to include a fumble. He’s had better days, but right now we plan to continue this sack assault as he has struggles to find his mojo. Stuff the rush. With an inactive L. Bell, this team is struggling to find their starter. Kareem Hunt started week 1, last week it was James Conner. Neither back was inserted at the right time, as listed starters have only averaged 2.1 yards per carry on the ground as the listed starter. Defensive Front 7: This week we field our base 34 defense; housing two big bodies on the interior, in Kenny Clark, who slides over this week to man the LDE position and 345LB beast Danny Shelton getting the start at nose tackle. At RDE we insert the sandwich shy of 290, Tyrone Crawford. Our goal with this heavy lineup on the left side is to get Clay Mathews potentially some open lanes to rush the passer as well as to free him up to make the stop on outside runs. On the other side, Crawford and Watt will utilize the stunt blitz to keep the immortal Joe Staley guessing and at times will bring down the safety blitz to overwhelm the line with bodies. In addition, Bobby Wagner returns to the lineup and along with Davis we believe our defense can control the line of scrimmage. Secondary: This week we’ve got some potential issues with our secondary in Jalen Ramsey (Q). Joe Haden however did return to full practice and if Ramsey can’t go, Haden will get the start. Even with the questionable Ramsey, we still favor the matchups in the secondary thus primarily will play in man coverage, subbing out LB Davis for either a CB or Safety in the nickel, which we’ll run predicated on down, and distance and our opp. substitutions.Coverage assignments are as follows; Keenan Allen / Jalen Ramsey or Joe Haden Corey Davis / James Bradberry Phillip Dorsett / Jaire Alexander Eric Ebron / Rodney McLeod 4th Receiver will be assigned to Joe Haden, if Ramsey is a go. If not Tramon Williams will be assigned the task of covering the 4th. Kyle Juszczyk or 2nd Tight End coverage will fall on safety Antoine Bethea on deeper routes while linebackers will key on them underneath. Press Zone Coverage will be used primarily on short yardage situations and when the offense fields dual Tight ends sets, while the front 7 controls the LOS. Singapore Sentinels Motivation 3-0 would be nice to start the season. We have to take advantage of this mini homestand and get a jump on the rest of the division. Offensive Strategy Formations: Two TE / I-formation / Single Back Scheme: Run (55%) vs Pass (45%) Running Attack - Kareem Hunt will take the lead reigns in the backfield. Conner will back him up with Powell as a change of pace back. All three are excellent pass catchers as well as runners so will get a lot of work there as well on a few wheel routes and RB screens. Blocking - We will start in a 2 TE formation to help control the LOS. Getting Cannon back will help versus the new Edge players Orlando added. Tomlinson and Richburg will help fill out the OL we envisioned this off season. We’ll look for Orlando to be blitz happy with their new toys and the OL will give Jimmy G plenty of time to read the defense and pick them apart. Passing game - Allen and Davis will be the outside receivers with Allen likely drawing Ramsey this week. Davis will get a banged up Haden. We’ll respect that and target the seam with our TE’s against a rookie LB in Warner and a run stopper in Davis. Dorsett will be the 3rd WR with Switzer getting his usual carry. Defensive Strategy Formations: 3-4 and 4-2-5 (Big Nickel) Scheme: Single High Safety / Zone Coverage Stop the run - Orlando has an top back in Kamara and added Coleman to give him a rest. We’ll counter with a 3-4 with our best run stoppers in Donald, Snacks and Joseph. Eric Kendricks slides in as another sideline to sideline backer that suits our scheme. He’ll be a spy on Kamara to keep him in check, putting the Osprey’s in long passing situations. Next Man Up - Griffen needs a day off so we’ll use our hybrid 3-4 scheme and plug in Morgan as an off the ball Edge rusher. Avery will rotate with him to keep the pressure on Rivers. We want to try to keep Orlando out of the Redzone to keep their big play weapons out of play. Our Nickel D will be a 4 man front with Charlton coming off the edge with Smith and King coming in for their coverage ability. This should keep Snacks and the other DL fresh. Secondary assignments - Rivers has some good first options in the passing game in Evans and Gronk. Robinson is a good volume receiver but mostly a chain mover. We will limit their effectiveness by doubling Evans with Bates over the top in a single high formation. Waynes and Claiborne will play zone on their respective sides. Gronk will be covered by Shaq Thompson underneath with John Johnson giving assistance as well. King will cover the slot receiver if deployed. ny92mike
Knew I forgot something, I've got CB Williams in the game plan to cover the 4th receiver and he isn't listed in the lineup. Lucky for me, my opponent doesn't mention running 4 wide sets.
DingoLadd
Singapore to go 3-0. Orlando has a solid gameplan that should serve them well here, Everson Griffin is a big loss for Singapore but still they should be able to get after the QB. Singapore's front seven is a nightmare to be reckoned with and it helps them get the W. 20-24 Singapore.
PR
I like that Singapore leaned run heavy to take some pressure off Jimmy G, but the loss of Cannon and Ranking having to fill in (and Rankin hasn't been doing well thus far) would definitely hurt the runs to the edge and break down his pocket protection when forced to pass. Going Orlando.

Xmad
Orlando is the better team, Singapore executes better and has a slightly better gameplan.
RuskieTitan
Another great matchup between two teams. I feel that Orlando will be able to execute their defensive gameplan more effectively against Singapore's offensive, and Singapore lining up a linebacker out wide on Kamara can result in a few big plays that make a difference and that ends up giving Orlando a win. Whicker
I'm a little confused at Singapore's coverage scheme. It's a single high safety over Evans, but the corners are in zone and linebackers in man? I feel like this will leave a lot of deep space open and could be abused by Kamara splitting out wide. This gives Orlando enough success in the passing game to win this one
