Awkward and off balance. Someone likened him to a new born giraffe.

The knock on his coming out of college was his inability to move laterally because of his lack of athletisim but if he gets is hands on you hes a mauler. Will be destroyed by speed rushers. Thats why I cant understand why we dont make him a rotational guard similar to Greco. He will be great as a massive Guard who can backup Bitonio with injuries. They needed to keep Paztor and make him and Rod Johnson the backup swing tackle and swing guard respectively then cut Greco and Erving while Reiter can be the 3rd reserve for backup Center.

Speaking of something I noticed is that the use of the WRs. Can somebody explain to me why in the world guys like Hall/Alford/Boyce/Mullaney are getting all of these 2nd half snaps when we have guys who were actual draft picks like Payton/Higgins/Lewis who need ALL the snaps they can get are sitting the sidelines for a group of undrafted bums who wont even make this team? Its like Higgins/Payton are largely unnoticed. Where are these guys and why do I have to watch a guy named Boyce drop easy passes that should be going to one of our 2nd year young guys.

I'll fight Sashi to the death if he takes a punter in the 4th round

Why? This kid dang near killed the Buckeyes in the Sugar Bowl by continuing to flip the field and pin the Bucks deep. Limited the offensive playbook for us. If the Browns could do that routinely to opponents - think of the fun Gregg Williams would have opening up his chest of toys.......

Lou. I respect your opinion and I understand the conventional wisdom that punters can be routinely had as street free agents, so why in the world would you burn a pick? Because I stake watching 50 years of football on this - this kid is special. I have not seen a leg with that much thunder in it in many years. He is on the Ray Guy Award watch list for 2017 and his punts have incredible hang time.

I am fine if we agree to disagree - but I think this kid is a weapon and he makes the Browns a more complete team if he was on our roster.

This will be a big game for Britton Colquitt. If he struggles again - I am all for the thought  of using anything from the fourth round on to draft JK Scott of Alabama. That kid is a hell of a weapon.

Why would this be a big game for him?

He's looked about as useful as Cam Erving which isn't a good thing for either of them considering one has been in the league for years and was widely considered first round worthy. At least he didn't come with that type of hype and has time to drive us up the wall like Cam. I just hope we don't see much extended action from him for any reason this soon.

I'm really feeling less-than enthused for the first quarter of this game. The Browns mish-mash of an o-line is going to be a sieve, yet we're supposed to evaluate Osweiler or anything first team offense for that matter? I feel like the only good thing that can come from the starters' time on the field is no more injuries, otherwise this game is pretty much a waste for them or us as fans.

On the flip side, I hope there is another step forward for the defense - namely Peppers and Garrett. After this past week of practice from Jabrill, I'm hopeful for at least one big play (whether it's a huge hit or breaking a return).

@brooks1957 I'm not going to disagree that having good punter is useful, but there is absolutely no need to take one in the 4th round ever. Johnny Hekker was undrafted and he's one of the best punters in the league. Taking any specialist that early is foolhardy. The 6th is the earliest I'd even consider it.

Lou - that is why I said your point is very valid. I guess I was kind of star struck watching JK Scott repeatedly pin my Buckeyes back against their goal line - no matter where on the field it came from.

I thought he struggled mightily against the Saints.
