Hunter2_1
Is there something that you can be sure will kill your team nearly every time? Whether it's a particular play, a scheme, a player, maybe a certain position they find hard to cover? For New England, it's very well documented now. Our weakness is crossing routes (especially on 3rd down). They kill our defense. 5 of our last 7 games, it has been ruthlessly exploited (PIT, JAX x2, PHI, DET) - they've all either been losses or very close victories where we should have lost. We just cannot cover crossing routes, probably due to lack of effective pass rush coupled with slow linebackers. It's easy. Your team got any specific ones? vikingsrule
It's usually been field goals. Bailey has that down. Right now, the absolute worst unit is the running game followed by defense. Which is the complete opposite of last year. It's still early so I expect the defense to figure things out but Barr is constantly being put in bad spots in coverage. Lots of breakdowns and big plays given up this year.
Lilseb93
The Dolphins' achilles heel has been TEs in the middle of the field for years. It's because their lack of consistent LB play.

bucsfan333
Defense. Specifically stopping the pass. Which we seem content with because of the way we drop everyone so deep into zone that we allow everything underneath to be complete to the tune of allowing almost 80% of the passes thrown against us to be completed. I'd be shocked if NE's offense looks awful again. Not that Miami's defense is terrible, but Brady at home and on a losing streak is scary. It might be a high scoring game. Know it well. It's ok if you can win the turnover or keep them to FGs, but if not....argh.

Rodjahs12
Jerry Hughes has 20 pressures by himself and that’s nearly double of our entire edge group combined (11). If we could rush the passer at all our defense would be night and day different.

It's tough to force turnovers when we're willingly allowing those short passes on every snap. We don't even contest them. We just swarm to try and stop forward progress. To the tune of 360 ypg, the second highest QBR, and 78% completions. With one INT.
iknowcool
Our pass rush sucks. That may change if Obada keeps trending upwards, but otherwise Addison and Short are our only dependable rushers. Peppers hasn't played particularly well in limited snaps and Butler is obviously a bust. The only way I could see it getting better is if we start implementing different blitz packages, but we don't blitz (to this point) as much under Washington as we did under Wilks. Not necessarily a bad thing, just saying. The pass defense has been up-and-down, but that has been mostly a safeties issue - something that is (hopefully) corrected by the Reid signing. Our two starting corners (Bradberry and Jackson) have been excellent.
sdrawkcab321
Special teams by a mile. Cant return a punt without committing a penalty and can’t block on FGs or punts

For example, it's the same weakness for us, but what really highlights it are those crossing routes (Albert about to blow us up by the way, if you have him on fantasy)
