They wouldn't have had the time. McCarthy's timeouts are what gave them a FG attempt.  Poor clock management again.

They had a lot of opportunities to stop them on 3rd down on that drive. He stopped the clock with time to go, we wouldn't be having this conversation if they stopped him. If you want to say that we shouldn't rely on our defense, fine, but that's not "bad clock management". Literally every coach would  try to get the ball back there with 3 timeouts.
