BackinBlack
he will need someone to hire a good staff, especially for contract negotiations and someone to help him with Cap management . But as far as scouting players, for a team with 5 first round picks in 2 years, I love it.

True but let's be honest here, Rice doesn't fit the Raider culture. As far as Mark Davis is concerned, with most of the team meetings occuring at PF Changs, they just give you Rice on the side when you order the orange chicken anyway. No need to go out and hire your own Rice.

AlNFL19
Oh well. I wanted to see some of his draft coverage, he's usually pretty decent.

However, I think seeing the teams line up and Booger fly in above the ball on his crane to diagnose the offense and call plays would be epic. He'll need a new super duper crane though, but Mark Davis doesn't care; he loves spending money on coaches!

I give it 2 weeks before they bring on Jason Witten, who would then bring in Brian Kelly to manage that crane.

In fairness, we did make sure that Lynch had a ton of guys around him to make that work. Plus, there's a part of me that wonders if Lynch isn't basically just a "face". He speaks well, looks good, he's a good figurehead. But even if he wasn't, surrounding him with Mayhew and Peters, haveing Paraag in there to run contracts and trades...Lynch really didn't have to do much. So I suppose it depends on what the Raiders build up around Mayock.
