Gruden loves every QB he ever had on his show though.

Haha exactly. I'd rather judge his tastes based on who has played quarterback for him. Closest to Kyler Murray I can think of is Jeff Garcia. Otherwise it's a whole load of prototypical looking drop back guys. Personally I think it makes a whole lot of sense, but I just cannot see Gruden or Mayock taking him based on everything they've said they are looking for in a draft prospect.

I'm going to go with Jacksonville

Good weather team I believe they trade for Foles and develop Murray behind him.

Its not that I think you're wrong in saying we sign Foles or we draft Murray but BOTH? So we will spend our Top-2 picks on a QB at least because I'd assume Foles costs a 2nd or something close to that. It makes no sense that:

1. A team that supposedly is a QB away from being a playoff contender is going to spend their most valuable 2 picks on the same position?

2. Instant QB controversy despite how they feel about Murray being considered the #2

3. Money, Foles is going to cost alot of that which we dont have and even if we get him that means we cant afford to fill other holes in free agency so we have to use the draft for that...but our 1st pick is going to fill the same hole that Foles is?

I just dont understand how this scenario works out well for us

The Dolphins wouldn't have to worry about any stars on offense struggling in a Murray-friendly system. Kenyan Drake and Kalen Ballage would both be great fits for a super gun offense. At WR, the Dolphins basically have a blank slate, since I see Parker and Amendola both leaving. Albert Wilson would probably do decently, based off of his athleticism, in a Murray offense. Laremy Tunsil would be a good fit based off of his tendencies in pass pro - it could cover some of his warts in awareness. And, to top it all off, the Dolphins need the big-name juice more than any other team.

Kenny Stills, Albert Wilson and Jakeem Grant are a nice WR trio. We could just use one more WR, a bigger type.

I would consider that to be one of the weaker WR trios in the NFL.

I agree but that is leaving out Danny Amendola, DeVante Parker along with Mike Gesicki, Leonte Carroo, Nick O'Leary, Brice Butler and Durham Smythe.  Not to mention Keyan Drake out of the backfield and Kalen Ballage.  So they got weapons but sure if you just look at those three I agree it is not super strong.  And for them to be elite Parker has to show up and Gesicki has to break out as a TE which I think he can, kid is a freak athlete.

Amendola and Parker are expected to be released. I imagine that's why he didn't include them. Miami is still lacking in weapons. Gesicki is certainly capable of breaking out, but you're basically left hoping that a bunch of guys develop.

Wilson and Grant have demonstrated to be playmakers, and both hit the IR midseason. Stills is good (and a very good deep threat), but RT had issues getting him the ball this year. I'm comfortable with the group when you add in Gesicki, Drake and Ballage. I'd add 3 OL before any skill position players.

Stills is a #2 at best on a good team. Wilson is a #3 at best on a good team. Grant is a #4 and return specialist at best on a good team. That's a bottom 10 WR trio imo.

People when choosing in this poll should also consider the owner aspect of the pick. Some of the time the owner makes the call and they expect the coach to make the most out of it even if the coach doesn't think the player is right. So hopefully he goes to a team where the coach actually has a plan for him instead of having to make a plan for him.
