The New Orleans Saints will need to find a long snapper for 2017. According to head coach Sean Payton, the team is placing veteran Jon Dorenbos on NFI due to a need for immediate open heart surgery.

Per a source familiar with the situation, the Saints doctors uncovered something serious with Dorenbos after further medical testing. According to Payton, it’s an aortic aneurysm from a pre-existing condition, and the catch by Dr. John Amoss has saved his life.

Come on Phire, no way this is a trollsman. If our doctors found anything of this sort then it wouldn't have reached the point to where he needs emergency open heart surgery. Trade was a blessing in disguise for him.

Shocked to hear this news, heart issues this serious for a fit man in his 30s? As a long snapper I highly doubt a need for PEDs, which are the first thing you think of when it comes to an athlete with heart problems, even if we are to assume everyone's doing them. Must be some serious congenital defect? Hoping for the best for our magic man, he is an amazing guy.
