BucsDraftGeek47
Thee biggest take away for me is how no competition was brought in at RB We really have a depth chart of : Barber Jones Ellington

BA has picked up Chris Johnson and AP during his time in AZ, so he is not averse to adding a vet RB before the season starts.

bucsfan333
Speaking of: https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/bruce-anderson Read this and you'll wonder why he wasn't drafted.
bucsfan333
We're currently at $1.795M in cap space. Cutting Ryan Smith frees up about $1.9M with some dead money. Cutting Benenoch frees up about $1.9M with less dead money. Cutting Gholston still frees up $3.75M with zero dead money. Cutting Brice saves almost $1M with zero dead money. Cutting Harris saves $700k with zero dead money. That might get us enough to sign our draft picks. I have no idea what all these UDFA contracts counts as. We could also cut Isaiah Johnson, Corey Nelson, Riley Bullough, Joe Callahan, Ellington, Bobo, and Liedtke and save $4.5M. Cutting Stevie T and Auclair would free up about $1.2M with minimal dead money. Cutting Evan Smith is a free $2M. Cutting/trading McCoy is obviously a helluva lot easier than gutting the bottom of the roster. But there's a way to keep him and free up ~$16M. kgarrett12486
My takeaways from the draft: -Devin White pick was great. He was top 5 player on a lot of teams boards and he's the type of leader teams crave. -Love what we did addressing the secondary. We got 3 guys that fit the system well. I feel much better now about our secondary. I was worried before draft that they wouldn't address it before late rounds... -Still baffles me that we waited so late to take a pass a DL/OLB. We passed over a lot if talent. We have guys at the positions, but some are unproven as 3-4 guys and a good many are potentially out of contract next year. This was a miss to me. -Taking a kicker in the 5th is just dumb, not matter how good they felt he was... -Loved the other late round picks and UDFA's. They did a nice job with these.
