Redskins weakest position on defense is ILB, yet they released Brown.  That should tell you something. Guy is highly athletic, but he blows assignments like he’s doing it on purpose.

Imo it was a combination of two things.  One, Brown seems kind of dumb.  Asking him to call plays and adjustments at the line was over his head.  Just let the really fast dumb guy hit people don’t make him think.  Coaching staff should have recognized that.  Second, he criticized the redskins staff and front office (all were valid).  You knew butthurt Bruce Allen can’t handle a word of criticism.

He always is underrated and underpaid. Good signing.

I'd say the opposite. He puts up pretty numbers and PFF likes him, so he has been consistently overrated. Clean-up specialist imo.

No matter how overrated you think he is, you can't possibly think he's not underpaid at $3M. This is a great value signing for the Eagles.

Yeah. If the Iggles want to use him on run downs and as a blitzing LB, then they will be happy. But for a dude who is fast, in coverage he gets lost more than the TV remote.

Him in our system is interesting. A lot on the LBs, but not a ton of it is structured for the MLBs. They kinda just have to react to what Cox/Malik/Jernigan do and fill.

So like a worse Mychal Kendricks?

Solid signing for the Eagles. They've certainly been all in this off season.

2 yrs removed from the SB, I'd hope they're not planning for thier run 2022?

Define "All In" for me? All I see is them adding quality depth at key positions, locking up key starters/FA and attempting to fill vacancies  through the draft for next year or this due to injuries.

If last year proved anything it's that this team lacked some of those area's when they were decimated by injury. Hope some of these additions help with that if Godforbid it occurs again!!!!

I just hope R. Foster can stay healthy and out of trouble.

In a 9ers fan's experience, the answer is "No" to both of your hopes. In the 2 years he played, he always missed games and he was released because he refused to dump a certain someone and lied about it. The guy cannot be counted on, at all. What's worse is he regressed in year 2 after impressing in his rookie season.
