John232
Really seems like our position coaches were to blame with the DB movement. Love seeing Moore at FS and Reed back at corner,

Love seeing Moore at FS and Reed back at corner, It was so stupid. Moore who excelled at FS in college is moved to CB....Reed who excelled at CB is moved to FS. They just looked at both players heights and length and decided where they think they should play at. Um no, that's not how it works. Glad they made the signing of Verrett who obviously is the prototypical big corner in this system.

J-ALL-DAY
https://www.pscp.tv/w/1YqKDBqWjRkJV Crocker who just focused on the DBs mainly is breaking down what he saw. Said Verrett looked solid and didn't get targeted at all. Spoon looked great. Sherman looked fine, nothing that really stuck out. DJ Reed played outside corner and was looking good. He didn't like Deebo not finishing the catch by not running to the end zone. Also said he really struggled getting off press coverage against Spoon. Taylor looks much better quicker than last season. Tim Harris can't cover and needs to go...Thought that was funny lol. Edited July 28, 2019 by J-ALL-DAY

Well, he was disgusted in him today and said he can't cover at all lol. So yeah, move him to safety and see what he could do!
Forge
Context for Hurd. There are certainly worse things
straighthate
Sounds to me like Hurd’s just busting his butt and playing physical. Won’t make friends with the defense in practice but they’ll be his biggest supporters in games. Good to hear.
J-ALL-DAY
So both Cohn and Barrows mentioned how good Julian Taylor looks and how high the team is on him. He definitely flashed last preseason but didn't really get much time in the season until the last few weeks. Really intrigued with him but seems like DJ Jones will take a hit with this defense. From what Saleh said, he'll be strictly playing on the inside this year. That's going to be a tough hill to climb. He's one of only two players we have 300 pounds or more

Yeah, not all of them are going to make the team.

Can't see Street making the team then, unless we have an injury or two. Practice squad?

If we only got one, I think there's an reasonable chance that we can get them on the PS because most likely it'll be the one that doesn't play as well or flash as much in the preseason
Forge
Quote Joshua Garnett left the field early in practice. According to Shanahan, he dislocated a finger during Saturday’s session. When the finger dislocated again Sunday he departed for the training room and did not return. A former first-round pick, Garnett dealt with knee, toe and thumb injuries last season and appeared in seven games. I know it's not a huge injury or anything, but just more of the same. He needs to be a bit careful; I haven't heard much of anything about Ross Reynolds yet on the field (he struggled trying to handle Day in pass protection) but if he has a strong camp and preseason, he could easily push Garnett out. Garnett's great on that spot is tenuous at best
