childofpudding
Man, that is horrible, I hope he recovers and does whatever is best for his health. Great story, UDFA who fought for and won starting C position and has now won two SBs.

Lucky to be alive, forget the season for a sec Pleural, as in in the Pleural membrane surrounding the lungs, not "plural" as in more than one. Bengals LG Clint Boling retired this offseason for the same reason. You don't mess around with blood clots.

tom cody
To bad to hear this, I wish him all the best in recovery.
24isthelaw
He's out of the hospital. Andrews is a STUD. His reputation hasn't caught up to his play yet, which is a shame. Hope he avoids anything serious and can live a normal life.

And the last time they went into the season with a lesser player at the position, the whole OL suffered for it in a big way. Hopefully Ted Karras can step up. you have to help me with this, what change of center caused a disruption of magnitude.
MWil23
Any time I hear blood clots, I get sad and think about Tommie Frazier. I wish him the best and a speedy recovery.

VigilantZombie
At this point who cares about the season, this is something that endangers his life not just his 'health'. Hope he recovers fully and gets back on his feet.
KManX89
Damn, huge loss. Brady's age just might catch up to him now.

VigilantZombie
To put this in perspective for anyone who doesn't truly.understand how bad this can get, I had a family member that had a pulmonary embolism and was in a coma for a week or so, the clot travelled from his leg to his lungs and he could not breathe on his own. Andrew's reportedly had breathing issues but was released from the hospital. It could certainly have been a worse situation for numerous reasons but medically they are typically very cautious about these things. I would be stunned if he plays again this season.
