"No need for it really"

back up TE holds no real role for this team, so why worry about it. the other guys are athletic enough that you can get away with them

It would definitely help our T to have a TE that can block in there. Could double as FB like what they tried with Devalve. The front office agrees. They’re currently looking for one.

I'm a Tennessee fan.   I like Taywan a great deal.  Always have.  I think that he just was overwhelmed as a rookie coming from a small school and developed confidence issues and really had trouble putting his mistakes behind him.  He needed a change of scenery.  I wouldn't be surprised at all if he makes a lot of plays for Cleveland.  He may not be a full route tree kind of guy, but he is a very effective separator, especially deep.  His skill set jives more with a gun slinger like Baker than with an offense which can hardly operate a passing game and was absolutely dependant on the WRs to elevate a bad QB.

I really think he was just brought in to be that guy who can catch 1 pass for 48 yards per game. As WR5 I think you can do a lot worse than Taylor. Problem is that he was WR3 on the Titans and he is not suitable to play 50%+ snaps per game.

He should have a couple plays designed for him and get 1-2 targets on deep bombs per game.
